Bucky P.O.V
I woke up breathing heavy, I was covered in sweat and images of my nightmare keep running thought my head. Than I hear a voice cut thought all of that, "Hey, Buck you okay" I felt a hand on my shoulder, I look over to see Steve sitting next to me. "Yeah i'm fine" I mumble, "Do you wanna talk about it?" Steve asked, he always asked this question but I always keep my mouth shut and never talk about it, "No Steve, i'm fine" I said, "Buck, you can't keep it all in like that. You're going to drive yourself crazy!" Steve said, "Steve, I said I was fine. Just leave okay?!" I said. Steve got off the bed and began to leave before he turned back towards me, "You know what Bucky. I am trying to help you and stop those nightmares but you keep pushing me away. I care about you Bucky but you can't keep doing this not to me or yourself. I have seen the way you wake up shaking and screaming and it kills me inside to see you like that, night after night I have to see you go thought this and I know you hate it too but its fine, never talk and let it keep controlling you! What they did to you was horrible, unthinkable but you need to talk to me about it but you have to be stubborn and never open up. So I'm done trying to make you feel better. Do whatever you want i'm done!" Steve said than walked out of the room and slammed the door. I sat there thinking of what Steve said, did he really mean it? I know I push him away but it's because I care about him more than I should but how do you tell you Bestfriend that... That love them?
Steve P.O.V
After I slammed the door I walked back to my room, shut the door and stood there thinking. Did I really just say that to Bucky, did i really just yell at him? I just want him to talk to me and help me understand what he is going through. Almost every night I have to see him in pain and there is nothing I can do. I want him to talk to me, I want him to trust me because.... I love him.
Third person P.O.V
The next day the whole team got a call from Fury giving them orders to take down one of the last remaining Hydra basis. Bucky and Steve didn't talk all morning, even on the way to the mission than stayed quitet, both other hated the silence but neither knew what to say after last night.
Bucky P.O.V
We got to the building and we all knew the mission was to collect any intel we could and take down everyone inside. "Alright, Tony and Nat get the Intel, the rest of us will take down the Hydra agents" Steve said. We All did what we were assign to do, I had just finished clearing level 3 the building when I heard Nat through my earpiece , "They got Rogers" Nat said, "where is he" Tony asked "I don't know, I turned around and he was gone" Nat said, "I know we're they took him. When ever they capture someone that may know something important about the enemy they put them in a fear simulator. It should be floor 5. Meet me there and take down anyone who gets in your way" I said and ran thought the floors till I got to floor 5 and I saw Steve already in the simulator. The others got there before me so all of the agents were dead, "How do we get him out of there?!" I asked, "Its a serum they put inside of him. It will only last about 5 minutes but if we move him we could hurt him" Tony said, "Fine, you guys go clear the rest of the building and I will stay with him" I said, the whole team left while I stayed. I looked up at the moderator that showed inside Steve's head but i saw myself, why was I in his worst nightmare?
