chapter one

Alvin POV

"Give me the remote Alvin its my turn to pick the show, we just watched Meerkat manor!" said Brittany grabbing at the remote but missing as Alvin moves it out of her reach  "so, that was Theo's choice not mine" Alvin retorted "but the order goes boy then girl and Theo's a boy so its the girls turn and that means I choose the show!" argued Brittany "so, you girls made us watch an hour long episode of Vampire diaries and Meerkat manor is only thirty minutes so I think we should get another turn!" said Alvin with a smile "what is all this arguing about?!" said Dave as he walked into the living room "Alvin won't give me the remote and its the girls turn to choose!" said Brittany, Dave looks at his watch and sighs "you know what its 10 o'clock so I say that its bed time for you two since you two can't stop arguing over the littlest things!" said Dave " but -" Brittany tried to argue but was interrupted by Dave " no buts you two, you brought this on yourself's when you two decided not to get along" "yes sir" said Alvin and Brittany as they started walking to the bed room the six chipmunks and chippettes shared "thanks a lot Alvin" said Brittany sadly and angrily  "what's that supposed to mean?" asked Alvin "it means that if you had just listened to me and followed the rules we'd still be able to watch TV and stay up later but noooo you just had to have it your way" said Brittany sadly tears starting to form in her eyes "I-" started alvin but was interrupted by Brittany "I don't wanna hear it Alvin, I'm tired of you being such a selfish jerk" "I was just going to say goodnight, yeesh" said Alvin as he climbed up to his bunk on the chipmunks bunk, Brittany didn't respond, she just climbed up to her bunk on the chippettes bunk and went to sleep. About and hour later Alvin could hear Brittany lightly snoring and looked over at her since both of them had the top bunk of their triple bunk beds "I'm sorry Brittany" whispered Alvin knowing she couldn't hear him, he wouldn't dare say that to her if she was awake because then she might suspect the truth, that he was in love with her, he sighed then laid down and went to sleep, in the morning he woke up to someone shaking him "wake up Alvin its time for breakfast" Alvin quickly knew it was the voice of his secret love Brittany "I'm up, I'm up, good morning Britt" said Alvin sounding tired "good morning Alvin, hey Alvin I-i've been m-meaning to tell y-you that, I love you" said Brittany "you what?" asked Alvin "I said I love you Alvin" said Brittany again "I-i love you to Brittany" said Alvin as he leaned towards Brittany and kissed her, he felt his heart fill with joy as he felt Brittany kiss back, they pulled away for air and looked at each other "wake up Alvin" said Brittany "but I'm already awake" said Alvin "wake up Alvin, wake up, Wake up!" repeated Brittany, Alvin's eyes shot open and he realized that all of it was just a dream "Alvin will you wake up already, Dave's making pancakes to apologize to you and Brittany because he sent y'all to bed early, so hurry and get up" said Simon impatiently "I'm up, I'm up, man Simon you ruined an amazing dream I was having" said Alvin as he turned over and sat up "what was it about dude" asked Simon "like I'll tell the dude who ruined it" said Alvin "fine be that way dude" Simon said as be started to climb down the ladder on the bunk beds "but seriously hurry dude" said Simon as he walked out the door to the room "okay I'll be down in ten minutes!" Alvin yelled to make sure Simon heard him, he then reached under his pillow and pulled out a heart shaped picture frame with a picture of Brittany in it "one day I finally get the courage to tell you how I truly feel Britt" said Alvin sadly, he then kissed the picture and put it back underneath his pillow and sighed.

Brittany's POV

"Ugh what is taking him so long, Dave's not serving the pancakes until he gets here" said Brittany annoyed "relax Brittany Simon only just got back and he said Alvin said he'd be down in ten minutes" said Jeanette "but I'm hungry" said Brittany making a fake angry pouty face "you crack me up sis" said Jeanette chuckling "yep that's what I do, I can also make you blush, wanna see?" challenged Brittany "oh I'd like to see you make me blush" said Jeanette smirking "oh you don't think I could?" asked Brittany "nope I don't think you can" said Jeanette "oh but what if I told Simon about the fact that you-" she was shut up as Jeanette slapped a hand over her mouth "alright, alright you win I'm blushing and you better not ever tell Simon that" said Jeanette blushing "she better not ever tell me what Jeanette?" asked Simon who had jumped up behind them when they weren't paying attention, causing Jeanette to jump and turn around "u-umm n-nothing S-simon" said Jeanette stuttering nervously looking down "Brittany what doesn't she want you to tell me?"  asked Simon "its not for me to say Simon, sorry" said Brittany smiling at her sister "then will you please tell me Jeanette?" asked Simon "I- I'm n- not r- ready to t- tell you S-simon " said Jeanette "oh ... okay, I'll talk to you later then, bye " said Simon jumping down and he went back to his seat "great thanks a lot Brittany, now I look so stupid to Simon and I obviously hurt him why can't you just admit defeat for once" said Jeanette sadly "hey I'm sure Simon doesn't think you're stupid" said Brittany "how do you know, you don't know him like I do" said Jeanette "yeah I don't but I do know that he treats you nicer then anyone else, even better then he treats his brothers" said Brittany smiling "what do you mean?" asked Jeanette "I'll give you an example, do you remember last week when you were reading one of Simons favorite books and you tripped and ripped a page of the book and all Simon did was say it was okay, it was an accident and he asked you to be a bit more careful?" asked Brittany "yeah I remember, it was the maddest he ever was towards me" said Jeanette "yeah well Theodor got just a little chocolate smudge on the cover and Simon yelled at him" said Brittany "really?" asked Jeanette "yep" said Brittany "so what did I hear about pancakes?" asked Alvin as he came in the kitchen and jumped onto his chair "yep right hear" said Dave as he started putting a pancake on everyone's plate "now these pancakes come with syrup baked into them so dig in" said Dave, as they ate Simon kept glancing at Jeanette and an idea came to Brittany's head "so Simon why do you keep looking at Jeanette every five seconds?" asked Brittany smirking "w-what are y-you talking about Brittany?" asked Simon nervously blushing "you know what I'm talking about Simon" said Brittany "w-were you r-really looking at m-me Simon?" asked Jeanette "y-yes .... I mean n-no ..... I mean u-ummmm" Simon stammered on "oh just admit you have a crush on her already its pretty obvious dude" said Alvin "oh shut up Alvin you don't see me telling you to admit your crush on Brittany now do ya....... uh oh" said Simon "Simon you idiot!" yelled Alvin as he ran out of the kitchen and to the bedroom blushing "wait alvin has a crush on me?!" asked Brittany "well its more than a crush as he described it but you might wanna go talk to him about that" said Simon "I will but you two are going to talk about the fact that you have a crush on each other " said Brittany smiling as she walked out of the kitchen and to the bedroom and hears a sigh " oh man Simon what did you do" said Alvin to no one, as Brittany climbed up the ladder to Alvin's bunk and when she gets there she sees him quickly hide something under his pillow "hey Alvin" said Brittany "h-hey Britt" said Alvin "so do you really have a crush on me Alvin?" asked Brittany blushing while looking down at the bed "well I wouldn't call it a crush really" said Alvin "then what would you call it?" asked Brittany "I would call it....... being in love" said Alvin and he heard Brittany gasp "are you saying what I think your saying, are you saying you're in love with me Alvin Seville?" asked Brittany as she stared at Alvin waiting for an answer "yes, I am in love with you Brittany" said Alvin blushing and looking Brittany straight in the eye "I love you too Alvin" said Brittany, Alvin then went over to Brittany and kissed her suddenly, Brittany was surprised but soon kissed back wrapped her arms around Alvin's neck as Alvin wrapped his arms around Brittany's waist pulling her closer and deepening the kiss
