The Grand Ball

We all walked to the Main Ballroom. As we aproched I though I saw J.J. Abrams.

I said to Chris, "Chris that looks like J.J."

Chris: "I'm pretty sure it is."

Zachery: "Is it just me or does that guy look like J.J.?"

Mia: "No your not alone Chris and I think the same thing."

We walked closer and he was standing there greeting people. We approached him and he said, "Hi Chris, Zachery, and Mia! How are you guys tonight?"

Chris: "We are good"

I looked at Kat, "I would like to introduce my friend Kat. Kat meet J.J. Abrams"

Kat's mouth almost dropped wide open, "Yyyour the director of the new Star Trek."

J.J. said, "Yes Yes I am!"

Kat: "Oh my god! It my pleasure to meet you."

J.J. : "The pleasure is all mine. I'm happy I've met you. Please you all go enjoy yourselves."

I looked at J.J., "So what's the whole point of this big ball thing?"

J.J.: "Can't tell you yet."

I rolled my eyes as we  walked into the ballroom and it was so beautiful! A big chandelier hung from the middle of the ballroom and the tile on the floor was white and gold marble. And there was marble columns.  

Chris asked me, "Can I have this dance?"

I said "Of course." We walked out to the dance floor. I didn't think Chris could dance. I've known him almost all my life and never saw him dance once. The song was in the form of Viennese Waltz. Chris garbed by hand and my waist and we started to dance I was very impressed with his dancing.

I said, "Wow! Where did you learn how to dance?"

Chris: "I learned it all from you!"

I had danced since I could remember and knew every type of dance. I taught Chris, Zachery, and Karl how to do basic ballroom dances, "You three were so hard to teach!"

Chris: "I am so sorry,but we had no previous experience."

Mia: "I could tell! Even a blind man could see that."

Chris: "Were we really that bad?"

Mia: "Oh my gosh! You guys were so horrible! But I made you guys better....thankfully." The dance ended and Chris and I went to go find our table. Kat and Zachery joined us at the table and we talked for a while. 

Then someone came up from behind me and put their hands over my eyes and said, "Guess who!"

I said "Karl?"

Karl: "Yep that's me!"

I got up and gave him a huge hug, "I haven't seen you in forever! Where have you been."

He said, "I think the question should be where have you been? You haven't been at Chris's house for a while."

Mia: "Yeah sorry bout that. My life has been a crazy mess!"

Karl: "Well then I see. Have I mentioned how beautiful you look?"

I put my hands on my hips, "No I don't think you have."

Karl: "Well how rude of me! You look beautiful!!"

Mia: "Aww thanks!"

Just then his wife Natalie Wihongi comes up behind him, "Hey Mia! How are you doing?" 

Mia: "I'm doing good! I've missed you! I haven't seen you in forever!"

Natalie: "I've missed you to! When we all get back you and I will have to hang out!'

Mia: "Yeah the only problem with that is I'm not going back."

Karl looked at me and said, "Wait a minute! What in the hell do you mean your not coming back?!"

Mia: "I ran away with my friend Kat and Chris surprised us on the plane. And I'm never going back."

Karl put his hand one my shoulder and we walked out of the ballroom. He said to me, "Hun what happened?"

Mia: "My dad left for good and all my parents do is scream and yell at each other. I can't take it anymore! It is an unhealthy environment for me." 

I started to cry, and Karl held me and said, "Its okay hun. Your alright."

Chris came out of the ballroom and saw us. He came up to me and saw that I was crying. Then Zachery came out and came over to us. 

Chris said, "Lets all go back to the hotel room for a little bit. So you can fix your makeup and calm down love." 

I said "Okay"

Chris and Karl put a hand on each of my shoulders and Zachery followed us to the hotel room. Once we got in the room and the door shut I started bawling. I went over to my bed and collapsed from crying so hard. The three guys ran over to me and just held me for a good 20 minutes and comforted me. I wanted to stay in the hotel room and go to sleep.

Zachery said, "I'll take Kat back to my hotel for the night."

I said, "Okay Zach. I'll see you tomorrow?"

Zach: "Yeah! Night Mia!"

Mia: "Night Zach!"

Karl said, "Why don't the four of us get together for the day tomorrow?"

I said, "That would be great!"

Chris and Zachery said, "Yeah sure!"

Mia: "Night Karl."

Karl: "Night Mia."

Both Zachery and Karl gave me a kiss on the forehead and left. I walked over to my suitcase and grabbed my pj's and went to the bathroom. I crawled into bed with Chris and cuddled up to him. I was exhausted from today.

Chris said, "Good night Princess."

"Goodnight my Prince." We giggled and I fell asleep.
