Chapter 12

I picked up the phone again and kept throwing it back on the bed. I kept doing that until Vic walked in the room with a smile on his face. I turned around to avoid looking into his eyes. I blinked the tears away and pasted a smile on my face, turning back towards him. His smiled faded slowly.

“Is something wrong, Mollie?” Vic asked, stepping towards me.

“No, I’m fine,” i gave a bigger smile. He sighed and shrugged.

“If you say so…” He looked down and saw the phone sitting on the bed. His eyes widened and he ran over snatching it off the bed.  I stepped back a little and crossed my arms.

“Vic, is there something you’re hiding from me?” I asked, a little annoyed.

“No… no no no of course not…. Um hey I have something to show you.” He was talking quickly and I could tell he was nervous. He took my hand and pivoted on his heel, and began to walk out the door.I just sighed and followed him. This isn’t over though. I need to get him to tell me what he was doing with Ash… I decided to wait until after he showed me whatever he was going to show. I sighed again and slumped forcing myself to drag my feet along.

“Where is this thing you want to show me?” I questioned.

“Just come down into the kitchen, because I need to blindfold you first,” He smiled. As pissed off as I was about his phone, I allowed a smile to appear on my face. He let go of my arm when we entered the kitchen and dug around in a drawer for a second before yanking out a black piece of cloth. “Turn around, let me tie this on you.” I did as I was told, and he pushed back my hair, swiftly pulled it over my eyes, and tied it behind my head. All I could see was blackness.

“You can’t see anything, right?” I shook my head, and he led me outside and helped me into the car. I took a deep breath and went with whatever he was doing. Then I remembered…

The blindfold.

The car.

The text from Ash.

The images flashed through my head remembering when Ash came back to our house and kidnapped us. I gasped and quickly untied the blindfold from my eyes. Vic pulled over and stopped the car.

“Mollie what’s wrong?!” Tears were streaming down my cheeks as each memory repeated through my head over and over. He took my hand and I yanked it away from him.

“Mollie! Mollie, calm down! Look, we’re here!” I sucked in a deep, shaky breath and looked around. We were in a empty parking lot, except for four cars. I only recognized Tony’s car but the others I didn’t know who’s they were. I gave Vic a quizzical look, and he just grinned, excited.

“Trust me okay?” He smiled and I smiled back in approval. He took the blindfold again and gently wrapped it around my eyes and tied it in the back.

“I’ll be right back. I promise.” I nodded and heard the car door open and close shut and then I was alone.

As promised, he returned moments after, opening my side of the car and taking hold of my hand.

“You’re gonna love it.” He whispered, giggling a little. He led me up to wherever he was taking me and I felt a cold blast hit me along with the smell of pizza when Vic opened the door.

“Uhh… Vic? Where are we?” He pulled off the blindfold and I was welcomed by Jaime, Mike, Tony, Mikayla, Kellin, Justin, Austin, Taylor, Alan, Andy, Olivia, and Oli. They all threw their hands up in the air except for Andy who flipped me off and smiled. I smiled and laughed a little and took a look around. There were play tubes and arcade games and a big mouse standing on the stage. There was a banner and streamers hanging that was hanging across the wall that read Happy Birthday Mollie. There was no one else in the place except for us.

Chucky E. Cheeses. We are at Chucky E. Cheeses.

“Of course we’re here. Why would I think any different?” I rolled my eyes and they pulled me over to a table. Jaime and Alan went to go play while we all sat around a table eating pizza.

I couldn’t stop laughing at all the tour stories everyone had to tell.

Then we got into the fun part of jumping around, trying to fit through tubes, and listening to the mouse band. The tubes smelled like little kid and sweat. Kellin tried crawling in the tubes but every time he set his hand back down he made a disgusted look and noise. After a while I forgot about Vic and Ash and just had a good time.

After a few more hours of acting like a little kid again we all decided to go home. We were exhausted from climbing around in tubes, playing games, and having a mosh pit to the Chucky E. Cheese soundtrack. We almost got kicked out from Jaime moshing a little too hard and knocking over the mouse guy.

We said our goodbyes and cleared out of Chucky E. Cheeses. Then everyone got back in their cars and we all drove our separate directions. On our way home Vic and I basted music and rolled down our windows so everyone could hear. We were singing along and dancing and laughing. The Vic and Ash thing was over my head and all I could think about was what a good day I had.

We pulled into the garage and shut off the car. I pushed open my door and walked over into the driveway. Vic followed me taking my hand. We laid side to side next to each other looking at the stars. We laid in silence while we stared at the night sky. The stars looked like ice covering the sky and dancing around under the moonlight. Everything was so perfect. I looked over at Vic and he looked over at me.

“I love you Vic.”

“I love you too Mollie.”

It means a lot and I really hope you all like it<3 I do take time on this story just for you guys. It's fun and I enjoy writing it. Sorry it was a shorter chapter but at least its something.
