Eli and loci

They had gone out for a day at the park , Eli was sitting by the pond as loci had just gone off to get them ice creams ... even though it was December. No one knew they were gay but they being together was enough reason for the youth to give them a hard time about it anyway. Eli was alone when a hooded figure walked out from behind him grabbing him harshly by the shoulder and pushing him to the floor, as the clouds darkened and thunder rumbled and the rain continued to pour , the pain of a hard knuckle being brought to the face with the noise of his nose cracking under the force of his fist , Eli had given up until a loud shout was made from loci who had just returned and soon enough the attacker was on the floor pinned down , being screamed at by loci to leave us alone , although loci was not athletic,  he was tall .. after this they went home .. this was a usual for them and although it hurt they had to brush it off , they couldn't give another thing the power of hurting them , an hour later and Loci was cuddled up on the black sofa in a red blanket with childhood markings of pen and paint all over it , but it was still a warm , comforting blanket which was just landing on Eli's head who was sitting on the floor just in front of the sofa. They were only watching a cartoon but these moments were precious to them as there was no body else there , there were no conservative opinions or having to agree with close minded fools and after today's incident they were safe.  Loci was staring at his boyfriend in pure adoration for him , without Eli noticing of course. Eli's blonde hair was curling softly over his face , tousled and messy. They were free like birds who were constantly locked up until they were set free , rarely ...  but that's what made it better. " Eli " loci whispered which a hoarse voice as his hand re enters the warm bowl of popcorn " yea babe " Eli responded eyes still glued to the bright , colourful  screen ... "how good would it be to have a substantial amount of life guaranteed"
