Chapter 5

Kiley's POV

The words that were coming out of Amber's mouth shocked me.

"Say that again." I said. I needed to hear it one more time, to make sure it's true.

"Jack likes you." Amber said, again.

"How do you know?"

"Clay told me." She said.

My mind is blown.

I wonder if he knows I like him, or if he will ever ask me out. That would be awesome.

"Ok, let's go back downstairs." I said. I want to see Jack.

We all went downstairs.

"NOW LETS CONTINUE THE GAME!" Gabby shouted. Well someone's excited.

-- A couple hours later --

Everyone fell asleep, I think.

I couldn't fall asleep. I was thinking about that special someone. We all know who he is.

Maybe I'll just play on my phone.

Maybe I'll just go on Instagram.

"Kiley!" I heard someone whisper. It must be Jack.

I looked over, yep it's him.

"What?" I asked.

"I can't sleep. Do you wanna go for a walk?" A walk with Jack. Ok.

"Yeah sure, just let me pee first." I said while getting up. He got up too.

I ran upstairs to pee.

After that I grabbed one of Amber's hoodies. Wouldn't want to get cold now.

I slipped on my boots now I'm ready.

I looked at the time.

3:14 A.M.

It's kinda late. Whatever.

I ran down the stairs to find Jack waiting.

"Hey." He said. I smiled and we walked into the moonlight.

"So where are we walking to?" I asked.

"Just wherever." He said, So much detail!

We walked around and I suddenly felt Jack's hand slip in mine. He was kinda shaky.

Is he nervous?

I grasped my hand onto his. He has warm hands, I have cold hands.

"Hey, K-Kiley I-I've been wanting t-to ask you something." Did he just stutter? HE'S SO CUTE WHEN HE STUTTERS!

"Yeah, what is that?" Hopefully it is what I think it is.

"Maybe sometime me and you could maybe go on a date. Only if you want to. I don't want you to say yes out of pity-" I cut him off by a kiss. Bingo!

I pulled away.

"Yes, I will go on a date with you." I said.

IM GOING ON A DATE WITH JACK! IM GOING ON A FUCKING DATE WITH JACK LABRANT!

My best friend's boyfriend's brother!

That just sounds weird.

Amber's POV

I woke up with the warm of Clay's arms around me.

I looked out the window and noticed it was still dark outside. What time is it?

I moved my arm around searching for my phone. I found it but I noticed I never hit Kiley while swinging my arm around.

I looked at my phone 3:19 maybe she needed to pee.
