SHAE'S POV
I managed to spend the whole weekend at the cabin with Harry without my mom knowing. She thought a few of my friends and I went north and stayed at a hotel. I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and Harry laying next to me. His arm was warm and tight against my waist. I tried to move it so I could get up but his grip only tightened. I chuckled to myself and rolled over to face him.
"Harry, wake up." I said planting a kiss on his forehead. He shook his head no and pulled me closer. "Yes, its Monday, we have school."
"So? We could just stay here. It's Monday and you and I both know we barely do anything on Mondays." He had a point the only thing we normally do is sit in class barely learning anything.
"Okay fine, we can skip, but on one condition. We go get breakfast because I dont feel like making any and two we go swimming."
"Deal. So where would you like to go get breakfast at?" He asked pushing his hair back.
"How about that cute diner in town? I think its called... Amelias?" I said poundering what the name was.
"That was were the car crash was." His eyes looked hurt and his voice was hoarse. Harry may have been a tough looking guy on the outside, but inside, he was the complete opposite. It took me moments to realize what he was talking about by 'the car crash' until I remembered. It must have been where his father crashed the car intentionally killing Harrys mother.
"Harry, im- im so sorry, I didnt mean-." he got up out of the bed and walked out of the room. I know his mother was a sensitive topic and could trigger him easily. I heard a varity of crashes coming from the living room. Letting out a sigh, I got up out of the cozy bed and into the living room.
The floor was cold and there was no sight of Harry. Only furniture tipped over and one broken cup that was set on the coffee table. I looked over to see the sliding door open and Harry walking down to the dock on the lake. I grabbed the red blanket from the couch and wrapped it around me since it was morning and still cold. As I moved closer I could hear a weak cry coming from him, his face burried in his hands. Gently, I sat down next to him and sharing the blanket with Harry.
"Harry, im sorry. I didnt know." I whispered, tears starting to fall from my eyes.
"Its not your fault. Its his, and it isnt fair to anyone." He lifted his head showing his red, puffy eyes. "Because of him, my mother is gone, and I had to live in a house with him without the woman who I needed most. I have to live without her knowing the guy who raised me..was a monster." With each word he spoke my heart broke even more. I grew up without a father and I know what its like only living with one parent being the only influence on you. I looked down at my lap releasing the few tears I had left. "Now I have you. You're the person I need most in the world. The person I love most, the person I want to be with every second of every day and nothing can change that." He said whiping my tears from my cold cheek.
"I love you and im glad to be that person because you're my other half." I smiled pushing myself against his chest.
