Lets take a trip

Shae's pov

Its been a month since my birthday, also known as the last time i saw my mother. Its almost Christmas break and Harry and I just need to get away from everyone here, here as in this state. My friends are constantly annoying me to break up with him after the rumors that spread around the school that he cheated. But he didnt. Ever since we have moved into this cabin that is now called home, Harry has been with me every second and wouldnt even have a chance to cheat. I shut the bathroom drawer and walked into the kitchen where Harry was making breakfast.

"Ugh." I said sitting down on the bench as he placed a plate infront of me.

"Well good morning to you to." He smirked

"Im sorry I just dont want to go to school and im sick of all the rumors and everyone trying to seperate us all the time."

"Well, we're the only ones who know the actual truth and its none of their business what we do. And since it is the last week before winter break, we wont have to be around them for long."

"Harry, i know its winter break soon but the rumors follow us home. I cant go into town without someone from school seeing me and starting to talk about our relationship." I brushed my hair back as i took a bite of the pancake infront of me.

"How about we go on a vacation then?" He looked me in the eyes. "We can get away from everyone just like you want and we can go somewhere exotic or private. Anywhere you want to." 

"As much as i'd like that, we dont have the money." I sighed.

"Shae I have almost $8,000 in the bank im sure we will have enough. And before you ask, after my grandparents died I got a fair share in their money and I did have a job that paid fairly well."

"Alright fine, where would we go?" I said having my heart leap.

"How about we go to California. I have always wanted to go there and you have never been to America." He said tapping my nose.

"You have been to America?" I asked.

He nodded. "I went to New York a few years ago, thats where my grandparents lived."

"Alright so California it is." I laughed.
