Eve's perspective

There was a long awkward silence. I was still trying to process what had happened. Did he just kiss me? I looked up to see him deep in thought as well. I bet we both looked like we had seen a ghost or something. We heard a knock at the door and turned to each other. Adam got up and answered the door with me right behind him. It was Olivia and Jake. "guys guess what! me and Jake are getting married!"  she hugged his arm and they stared endlessly into each others eyes. "you are what!" I couldn't believe what i had just heard. "isn't it amazing. oh ya before we go on" they had walked into the apartment now and we all sat at the couch. "Jake and I would like to live in the apartment, and we may have kids so we where hopping that you could move in with Adam. you are over here all the time anyway and we are right across the hall so we can hang whenever." me and Adam looked at each other for a split second. After what happened today is moving in with him really the best idea. "you're ok with that right Adam" Olivia said. "uh well i guess" he looked a little concerned and wasn't making eye contact with anyone. "great then its settled, and who knows maybe you too will get married next." she got up and left with Jake leaving me and Adam alone with those thoughts. marriage, why did she have to bring up marriage? "ha well that was awkward" I could hear the nervousness in my voice.

It took a couple of hours for things to set in then we realized we had no choice. i certainly didn't want to live with them, it was bad enough as it was. we cleaned up the guest bedroom for me and moved my things in. "well I guess its official we are roommates" I say finishing putting things on my dresser. Adam was leaning against the door "ya i guess so" he said with a smile. "so how long do you think their marriage will last?" he looks at me and thinks. " I give it a month" we have small talk for a little bit but then we are interrupted with another knock at the door. "don't tell me shes pregnant " i say joking around. As soon as i open the door she grabs my hands screams something about bridesmaid and the next thing i know i'm down stairs going out the door.

"we first need to buy the bridesmaids outfit, then the brides dress, then we will work on invites. would it be weird if i invite your mom, shes like a second mom to me besides she can meat Adam and approve your guys's wedding." she rambled on about random wedding things the whole car ride i tried my hardest to ignore her. the car stops and she drags me into a dress shop. the last time i let her talk me into wearing a dress i ended up having to walk home in the rain so i was not in the best mood. The good news is she let me pick the dress instead of being like some other people and making me wear something i hate. we spent three hours at the dress shop picking out the dresses. we finally agreed on this pretty light blue one that went to my knees and was supper cute. then we went next door for her brides dress. "i want a floor length dress that looks like a princess would wear it" she tried on 15 dresses and finally picked one that looked like it had flowers all over it. " isn't it a little too early to buy the wedding dress what if he sees it?" " oh well we want our wedding as soon as possible, and for the him finding it that's not a problem i'm gonna keep it in your closet." "nice to know i had a say in that" i say sarcastically. when we got back to the apartment complex we went into my apartment to put the dress down. "looks like Adam isn't here" "well duh, after i dragged you off Jake came and took Adam hes best man". when we got in here apartment she pulled out a giant phone book. "holly crap do you actually know all these people" i say amazed flipping through the pages. "well of course i do i made this phone book myself" she flipped through the book writing down phone numbers and mumbling to her self words like "oh she would be perfect" or "they would just come for the cake". when she went through the whole book there was only one page full of phone numbers. nice to know she had a whole book full of useless names. we called each and every person telling them they would get a card in the mail asking if they where going or not, and we made sure we had the right addresses. when we where done with that we went to the store and bought a bunch of cards. we went home and began writing names and check boxes. "why can"t we just have them ordered like normal people" "that's too much money we want to keep the budget low besides there are only 100 guests that's 50 cards for both of us." after writing boxes and names for what seemed like forever we where finally done. we stamped them all and took them to be mailed.

i got back to my apartment and fell on the couch. Adam was there watching TV. "are you ok. you look like you got lost in the dessert then trampled by elephants." he said with a laugh in his voice. i sat up "ya she had me running around all day, she already has half of the things taken care of and its been a day." he chuckled and i got up mumbled i'm going to bed and collapsed on my bed.
