Chapter 7

Adam's perspective

almost as soon as Eve was dragged out the door Jake came and got me too. "so where we going?" he gave me a side glace "isn't it obvious, we are gonna have my bachelors party. first we need to pick up a couple of my friends then we go where you say we go best man so i'd start thinking if i were you" we stopped at a couple of houses and grabbed about three more guys. we all introduced each other and Jake explained it prob wasn't going to be the best since i just found out about it ten minutes ago. we first went to a bar, 'cause why not. then i figured they wanted the full experience and we went to a strip club. we didn't stay long though considering most of us where either married, getting married, or had girlfriends. we then went to Jake's favorite restaurant and ate dinner. we called it a night there and to my surprise everyone had a great night. "thanks for that you where awesome considering you had to plan this all out as it was happening" we walked up the stairs and went our separate ways. When i got in Eve wasn't home yet so i turned on the TV. Soon after she came in fell onto the couch complained about her busy day then went to bed. I watched her as she walked away with a smile on my face. "shes living here now" i thought to myself. after awhile i decided to get some rest to who knows what tomorrow is gonna be like with our soon to be married friends.

I got woken up by Jake shoving me off my bed. "time to get up we got things to do and places to go" i sit up off the floor "thanks for throwing me off my bed" i say sarcastically "that's what i'm here for now hurry up the girls already left" i got dressed and we where out the door.

we didn't really do much we just went shopping for non important things. "so when is your wedding day going to be anyway?" "um i don't know i'm hopping next week and i think with how fast things are moving we can make that dead line" we stopped and ate lunch and then went to get a few more items. When I got home Eve was sitting on the couch. "Hi welcome back" she said with a smile. She always has the brightest smile even when things are not going as planned. I sit down next to her. "Hey listen we haven't really gotten time to talk about what happened the other day." She turned to me and I could feel my face red up. "Well anyway I was just wondering if you maybe wanted to go out?" Her face lit up and she hugged me "yes of course I'll go out with you finally you asked me" she pulled away and we both laughed. We sat for a little but staring into each other's eyes. Before I knew it I had leaned in and kissed her. Our first kiss was so unexpected, even though I'm the one that kissed her, that I wasn't really able to think about it. She was an amazing kisser. I could feel her move her hands wrap around my neck. I grabbed her waist and pulled her close. We pulled away with the only sound being our heavy breaths. We gazed into each other's eyes and she smiled. "That was a nice kiss" she said. We stayed there for a little bit longer just remembering the moment then she slipped out of my arms and began walking to the bathroom. "I'm gonna take a shower don't miss me too much ok" she winked as she closed the door out of view. Man that was hot I thought to myself.

I woke up on the couch. When did I fall asleep? I don't even remember laying down. I got up and checked the time. 12:45am man I was out for awhile. I got up and went to my room. Eve's door was open and I could see her shadow on the bed. I couldn't really see her but I knew she looked peaceful. I changed and got into bed before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

I woke up and checked the time 9:30am well at least I got some more sleep. I crawled out of bed and went to the living room. I found Eve sitting on the couch watching TV. "Morning honey" she walked over and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "You hungry?" I had totally forgotten I had asked her out last night but I'm sure glad I did. I moved over to where she was staring in the pantry and wrapped my arms around her waist, looking in to find food with her. "How about we go to ihop to celebrate us getting together" I say smirking at her. She smiled at me and we ran out the door. When we arrived we ordered our food and made small talk. Mainly about how our friends are complete idiots for getting married after such a short time of knowing each other. We ate and went back to our apartment and as soon as the door closed became a normal new couple and began kissing. We fell onto the couch and our breathes got shorter as I moved from her mouth down her jawline and began kissing her neck. She wrapped her legs around me and moaned a little bit. I smiled as I kissed her one last time before I stopped and we gazed into each other's eyes with smiles on our faces.
