"That went well." Barry Allen state as the Justice League stepped out from the teleporter, each of them had a relief look on their faces. "He was cunning, I must say."

"Lex Luthor is nothing but a dangerous man. We must keep an eye on him." Martian Manhunter spoke, his yellow eyes trained on Clark Kent who took a seat at the end of the table in the mission room. "Although we had put him to where he belongs."

"Don't worry. I'm sure he can't escape in that kind of place. The place is a fortress!" The Flash ran past the other Justice League, using his superspeed, and sat at his place at the long table. His face showed nothing but joy.

Diana, who had already in her seat shook her head, disagreed with him."J'onn is right, Barry. Lex is an unpredictable man. He thinks the way we don't. We still have to keep our guards up."

She turned her head towards Superman and noticed he was staring out of space. "Clark?"

As soon as his name went out of her mouth, Clark snapped to reality and glanced at his wife who was giving him a concern look. "Yeah?"

"What's wrong?" Diana couldn't help but to ask. She knew Clark had been distant lately because of Lex; feared that the mad-genius might be hunting Claire as their child had almost the exact same DNA as her father. But now with Lex locked up in the prison, Clark was still in his own thought and that was bothering the Wonder Woman.

Clark frowned at her and asked out of the sudden, "Do you think Claire will be happy if I bring her to the zoo tomorrow?"

Diana was shocked by his question and quickly regained herself, chuckling at him. "Oh, Clark. You scared me." She put a hand to his newly-shaved cheek and he leaned at her touched. "Of course she will be happy. You know how much she loves animals."

Clark's blue eyes went to the team and noticed some of them had left the mission room, probably went to the cafeteria to get some snacks. Only the couple, Batman and Martian Manhunter were left in the room.

"I just... realised that I didn't get the chance to spend time with her lately. I'm such a terrible father." Clark sighed.

Diana caressed his cheek and smiled sadly at him. "No, Clark. You're not. She might be too young to understand this but I'm sure when she gets older she will. She will be proud of you."

"You mean, proud of us." Clark corrected her.

"I suggest both of you to go home." Bruce interupted the couple while typing something on the keyboard and seconds later, a portal appeared at the station where they just walked out from. "I made a portal to your house. It'll be quicker this way than flying around."

"Alright. Thanks, Bruce." Diana thanked the billionaire. She stood up from her seat and walked towards the dark blue portal, bringing Clark along.

"Don't mention it." Bruce gruffy voice replied without him looking at them.

"Have a nice night, Diana, Clark. Kiss Claire for me." They heard J'onn before the portal closed behind them.

The door of Claire's room swung open and Clark's head poked into the room. He immediately smiled as he caught sight of his cute little 4-years-old daughter who was sleeping soundly on her bed. Silently, he walked into the room and towards the bed.

He knelt at the side of the bed and stared at his sleeping daughter. Claire was beautiful; like Aphrodite herself even in such a young age and Clark was sure when she gets older, there will be a lot of mens chasing after her. He will be preparing himself for that.
