Soon enough I was sat in the sitting room with a bottle of wine in one hand talking with the others getting drunk , well they were at least, the magic in my system cured it as soon as it hit my system I'd have to drink hell of a lot to get drunk or do a Rhys and block the magic I was jolted from my thoughts by Aelin.
"Can we have a proper tour?" She stood up.
"Of what Aelin?" I put my wine down and looked up.
"The house of course we only know our own bedrooms nothing more" she giggled a very un-Aelin-like giggle.
I got up and started walking out of the sitting room doors. Turning back to look at them
"Hurry up then" I waved my hands.
Half of them jumped up. Aelin, Dorian, Aedion, Lysandra, Fenrys, Rowan, Lorcan, and Elide all followed me through as I pointed out various decorations such as the twin swords over the stairs crossed over the first Illyrian blades Cassian gave me.
"Up here all the bedrooms are as cal showed of showed you, straight across the stairs is Dorian and manons room, to the Right we have the main bathroom next on the left is Lysandra and Aedion then left of that Cal is staying in Nieves room for now left again of Cals is the room Fenrys and I are in of which is my room with a built in wardrobe and across form that is Aelin and Rowan" I paused for a moment as they looked around.
"You have a walk in wardrobe?" Lysandra gasped.
"Can we see it I need one in the palace" Aelin was like an over excited toddler.
"Of course come on" I grabbed their hands dragging them through the doors into my room it was a huge room bigger than the average master bedroom. I'd showed them a quick tour of that before opening the adjoining door and gliding straight through
"In here is Lorcan and Elide-" I went to continue but Lorcan was coughing violently and Elide had gone bright red she was nearly as red as my hair.
"I- uhh I'm- perha-" Elide stuttered
"It's just sharing a bed with Lorcan it's not like he'll bed you here Elide" Aedion sighed before walking away rubbing his head presumably going to bed.
I made my way back downstairs and into the sitting room to see many others had already left for bed.
"Manon just left she had to return to the wastes" Dorian took another sip of wine straight from the bottle.
I just nodded.
"I want you to train me" he raised his head like a rearing dragon ,eyes sharp.
"Well if we start tomor-" Rowan began
"No I want lady Riviera to do it" Dorian sighed "She understands my magic, more than you do atleast" he looked into my eyes, sapphire meeting silver.
"Firstly if we're training do not under any circumstances call me lady Riviera it's Riv or General Salvaterre take your pick." I snarled that name had to many memories attached. "Secondly be up at dawn we start then out front no excuses"
He opened his mouth and began to protest before thinking better of it.
I sauntered off to bed, Fenrys trailing behind like a lost puppy. The sun stretched lazily through the blinds of the balcony cascading over the bed as I rolled forward reaching over the warm male body next to me before remembering the training agreements groaned rolling over and out of the bed.
"Shut up Riv" Fenrys growled out rolling over hauling his pillow over his eyes.
My answer was a downpour of water drenching him as I pulled on my clothes and walking out.
By the time I'd got downstairs and walked through to the kitchen he'd made it downstairs, Still not dressed however, grumbling about grumpy females and stupid sunlight.
"As is the little wolfie upset because he got wet this morning?" I mocked.
He growled in response.
Dorian took that moment to wander in through the door.
"Ready" was all he uttered before walking back out and through the door as I followed after him."Use your mind Dorian walk towards the barrier and break the shield"
I repeated again through the barrier
"I can't see it"
He growled in response out loud
"Don't see feel, feel the obsidian barrier in my mind and break a hole"
I could feel him now pushing on the barrier before giving up in defeat.
"Can't we fight instead" he rocked backwards flopping gracefully in the grass.
"No we have different physics my training wouldn't work as affectively as Rowans or Gavriels" I'd just finished talking when I feel the air currents shift behind me.
I swung low grasping the legs and pushing the lithe female body onto my shoulders and other as she growled I felt wings brush me gently as she fell forward lurching before regaining balance and swinging a leg backwards into my stomach I somersaulted backwards, landing and raising my fists. She copied wings melting away in a display of soft lights her light blonde hair dripping down replaced by a bright ombré of green to white following a blue to white on the opposite side matching her mismatched eyes the only tell it was her. She swung forward feinting high by going for a low blow aiming to catch my waist , a stupid move really considering I'd taught her that but then again I was always the feistier one or atleast that's what Cass and Az used to laugh over. Lost in the moment of nostalgia was all it took for her to force me other pinning me to the floor legs straddling my waist before I flicked over so I was the one on top.
"You need to strength your core you've let yourself go" I clambered off rubbing the dirt off of my pants.
"Is that the kind of welcome you should give your almost sister definite best friend" she smirked."Hello Lady Teniae" I raised a groomed brow
"Lady Salvaterre it's time to kick ass" she began fixing her weapons back to her belt.
I looked around noticing the crowd gathered. Busybody fae I sighed.
"Well when you put it that way" I sauntered towards the house.
"Get your weapons Rhysand needs help" they scurried off without question thankfully they all knew this was coming soon enough I just hope we all survive this time around.I, really sorry it's short but I'm really ill at the moment so it's gonna be this length in future chapters for a while yet
Happy reading
