Do👏🏼your👏🏼fucking👏🏼research👏🏼. The amount of times I have read a book (on Wattpad) and you can clearly tell that the writer hasn't done any research.

If you're writing a book with someone who is suffering from cancer you need to know about cancer, know what type of cancer they have, they symptoms etc. I once read a book and when the girls hair fell out she literally said 'I have cancer because my hairs fallen out.' Your hair falls out from the treatment!!!

If you're writing a book with someone who has a mental disorder you need to know about the mental disorder like the fucking ins and outs of it. For example, you need to know that depression isn't just feeling sad, there is more to it.

Also, research and see what the people who have the illness, mental disorder etc are like, how they cope, how they feel. Know your cases.

For example, for my Psycho Series, most of the characters are based of real life murderers or people suffering with mental disorders. Sometimes I get really into my research that I'm watching documentaries etc but it's because I want my books to be as real as anything and I know that's so fucking sad 😂😂

So do your research before you start to write your book.
