First of all, don't comment on people's books asking if they can check your book out or message people. I get these on the daily basis & I have to admit they're so annoying. It makes the person annoyed & they probably won't read your book, I'm going to be honest.
Second. Make friends! This is one of the best ways I gained reads because I would make friends people who were doing the same as me & you can help each other get recognition.
Thirdly. Update often. This is one that I don't stick to because I can rarely find the time to write during the summer!! But update as often as you can to keep your reader engaged.
Lastly. Have a good book cover & description! I don't mind helping any of you guys w your covers or your book cover. I can even make your book cover for you if you want, just inbox me & I can read over your descriptions! But! You have to make sure they actually go w your book. The amount of times I've clicked on a book & realise it has nothing to do w the description or cover is very annoying!
