Ezreal
"Duck, duck, duck, duck, goose!" Ezreal exclaims as he points toward an idol with 4 other identical versions of it.
"Brilliant! If I chose the wrong one the-"
Before he could finish his sentence the place went shaking. He took a stare at the rumbling floor, the dirt was bouncing up and down. Sure enough, the place was sinking.
He backed a few steps, taking a head start, then bolted towards the stairs. He heard hissing, so he charged his gauntlet, aimed towards the stairway, and fired a beam of light.
"And he scores!" he proclaims as he hit
He goes up the next floor, to be greeted with a thin beam connecting the two areas.
Unlucky.
So he fired glances to the floor, and sets his sights toward a pebble in the corner. He picks it up and rolled it very precisely across the beam.
Axe-pendulums starts swinging. Left, right, left, right. It was dangerous, not dangerous enough though. He crawls beneath the first pendulum, aced, he crawls toward the next, aced, and the last one, it started shaking, it rotated, going towards the direction his facing, and started swinging violently. To add fuel to the fire, debris crumbled down at the end of the beam, blocking the next stairway.
Crap.
Luckily, this isn't much of a problem. He has the gauntlet. He charges up the gauntlet, to shift past the debris, but the ceiling holding the pendulum axes also give up and fall towards him. He has no choice but to drop down and hopefully the gauntlet charges in time to shift him. He keeps falling, he looks down. Spikes are happily to greet him, he crosses his fingers, hopefully he makes it in time.
He feels something sharp ripping his pants, then he feels solid ground.
"Oh god, just in time." He exhales.
"Next level, lets go!"
He comes across a horde of vipers. They're facing the other way, He decides if he should shift to the stairway or take them all out. He thinks about it for a moment, He then concludes that he should take them all out, one by one, because if he shifts to the stairway, they'll follow him, which'll make the next floor more hell than it already is. He proceeds to sneak behind them, but he accidentally kicks a pebble and it hits a viper. The viper hisses, and it alerts the horde. They turn around and rush to Ezreal.
Preposterous odds my ass.
Ezreal shoots beam after beam, mowing them down, there goes one, two, three, and so on. Then it comes down to the last one, it may be the mother. Its bigger compared to the others. It slithers towards him with no signs of stopping, He concentrate, deep breaths in and out, and I shoot. Nothing.
He realizes its still charging, but what now? He's handled this before, right? He's aced similar situations. The viper tries to bite his leg, but he pulls back, and kicks it, he tries to stomp it, but it dodges and wraps itself around Ezreal's leg. It wraps a few loops and squeezes tighter, He's hurting bad. It lashes it fangs, and as it prepares to sink its venomous teeth into his flesh, the gauntlet charged, and the blue light glowed from it, so he blasted a beam towards the viper, carefully, making sure not to hit his leg or his foot.
Ezreal then climbs the next stairway, and step on a wobbly tile, he then quickly pulls his foot back, of reflex, then the tile sinks down and a knife shoots up. He steps on another tile instead, and up and up, and step on another tile of the same description. He then hops forward, dodging the knife. I go up and up, realizing the pattern of the traps, so he goes left, then right, then right, then left.
