Aaron Burr, accompanied by John Laurens and Hercules Mulligan was making his way towards his house. They were currently taking the shortcut around the forest. The three had just bought some liquor and were making their way to Aaron's place so they could share the 'refreshments'. They had no idea, however, that they were being followed by two unknown beings. They didn't know that they were being hunted by these beings.

~~~~Alex's POV~~~~
"Alright Lafayette, you can do this," I assured my friend.
"I'm not sure, mon ami... Is this really the only way?" Lafayette questioned, unsure of what he was about to do.
"I know it sucks, but hey, Ill do it with you!'' I told him.
"A-alright... That ones kinda cute... Do I have to do him?" He said while pointing to the tallest one, who looked extremely buff.
"Ugh, no you can do the one in front, I like that frizzy haired one... Maybe ill take him with us..." I said with a smirk. Laf chuckled at my interest in the one snack. "Okay lets go in 3..."
"Deux" Laf followed, I rolled my eyes,
"One..."
"Go!" We said in unison. I pounced on my pick and pinned him to a tree, hissing. He thrashed in my grip.
"Don't struggle, it makes it hurt more... This will only take a second, sorry I have to do this," The man looked at me in surprise because I was apologizing for the thing I was gonna do. I took his momentary stillness as an opening. I dug my fangs into his neck and drew the blood from his body. He yelled in pain from the feeling of my fangs breaking through his skin. I smirked at the taste of his blood, it tasted perfect, not too sweet, not too sour. I could tell he was a healthy man. Then I realized an all too familiar taste... it was a little bitter... he recently had been drinking.
"John! I'm coming buddy!" A deep, raspy voice yelled from behind me, it startled me that I was being interrupted during my meal, and I accidentally injected my venom into him. He screeched in pain and terror at the new feeling. I pulled myself away right in time to receive a punch to the head. I fell to my side, my rags that I call clothes ripping a little on a rock. I growled a little and wiped the blood off of my chin. I got enough blood to last me a couple weeks, so I was good. I stood up and faced the two males. The new one stood in front of 'John' protectively. I snarled at them but my anger quickly turned to worry when I heard Lafayette's call.
"Alex! Help!" I turned to see a large branch over Laf's back and one of the men, who had blood running down his arm. I could tell it wasn't a venomous bite like mine. I rushed over to Lafayette and pushed the man out of the way.
"Oh my god Laf! Are you okay?! How did this happen?" I screeched.
"Alexander, I can't move! It's too heavy mon ami..." he coughed. I started panicking and tried to lift the branch up. I could lift it, but not enough to help him escape. Suddenly, the branch felt way lighter. I- or we - lifted it above Lafayette and he crawled out from under. I pulled him up and he stood. With our healing capabilities we are able to heal from almost any wound quick, the branch would completely snap a human's back in half, it barely cracked Lafayette's, and even then, as soon at the pressure disappeared, he almost completely healed. He stood and hid behind me, staring at the man who helped us. I looked at him... I was shocked to say the least. Who would help a Vampire?
~~~~Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier de La Fayette, Marquis de La Fayette's Pov~~~~

I pounced on the man I had been aiming for and held him down with one arm on his chest and one on his neck. I was more sympathetic than Alex, to say the least. He liked to go for the neck of his victim, well it is usually where the best blood is, I know this because it is where he bit me. But I knew that that was a very sensitive spot for most humans, so I often went for the shoulders or collarbone. This time I bit his shoulder, tearing through the soft cloth on his shirt and digging through his skin. I basically inhaled his blood. I was hungrier than Alex, because he often fed on animals while I hated the taste. I took about a pint of his blood before I recovered from my frenzy, and I pulled away, satisfied. He had been struggling and screaming through it all. I looked around and realized I had pushed the cute one towards a tree. He must've hit it hard, because he was just now getting up. He ran towards the other one Alex was biting,
