3040- Earth, After Nuclear
The Earth got used up. People left to colonize Space, and back home, on Earth, a war started. You know the "Big One" everyone was afraid of, with the nuclear missiles and the death of a whole country (minus like one or two people), the war everyone knew how to prevent, knew was gonna happen, but still denied it and did nothing to prevent it. My family left me here, they're some where in Space, and I'm stuck here. Luckily, I'm not alone. A few of my friends got left behind too. We maybe the only people left, but we certainly aren't the only ones. Because of the radiation, a few animals mutated. All I know for sure nowadays is that scientists were right, cockroaches made it, and we have to get off this planet.
