Chapter 1

Peeta's POV

   I smiled nervously at Katniss when I said I was sure about the idea of another baby. Katniss looked down at her lap and then at me. She had a confused look on her face and I sat next to her.

"Are you sure?"Katniss asked.

"Yes I am." I quickly answered.

   She got up and hugged him unexpectedly.I couldn't let her go and I hoped she didn't. My lips rubbed on her neck. I sat down on the passion red,hard as anger,smooth as a liar's tongue,sweet as a secret kiss couch. I'm thinking of words to describe Katniss.Independent,proud,calculating,strong-willed,protective,determined,brave and unremarkably and uncontrollably beautiful. I held her tight against my arms.My grips loosens,I felt like I was crushing her. I didn't plan to but when I called her protective I wanted myself to fall in those words. I'm aching for her to describe me as well. 

 It's been a while since neither of us spoke and I thought about breaking the silence. There was always a silence and it rages me. I wanted to know if what we had was real in the Games. My feelings change during the games but I was scared that maybe it was sponsors she was trying to gain at first. Now it's awkward. What's to talk about besides babies? Then I knew exactly my plans. A trip. Away from the Panem. It's not possible. But with...if the places we talk about back at school were real. Hawaii and California. Florida. Heard of them once and now I want to know more. We learned about the climate their rules and freedom. My mind started to impulse,brainstorm,ideas float in my mind. We are leaving Panem. Now and maybe forever?

  I kept thinking about this decision. I wanted to know if it's right. I didn't want to be responsible for destroying everything between me and Katniss and us and the Capitol. Before I could explain this to Katniss the knocking began.I release my arms and let her go. She opened the door to see Effie Trinket. Blue hair and pink lipstick. Regular Effie with her style.

"It's going to be a big,big,big day!"Effie announced as she walks in the house.

   I can tell me and Katniss are feeling the same way. Oh no what now? She is gonna wake up baby Rue too.I took out my hand and she quickly shook it. Katniss took out her hand and Effie did the same.

"Now what?" I asked annoyed.

"Hmm what manners."Effie gives me a disgust look.

   Me and Katniss smile like we were excepting that. 

"This is mahogany!"Katniss shouted.

  Me and Katniss laughed so hard.

"Enough!"Effie shuts us up.

   Me and Katniss stopped but I could tell she was and so was I trying hard to hold our laughter.

"Ok look it's time to go back to the Capitol."Effie smiled.

"What?!"Me and Katniss yelled.

"Why?"I asked.

"We have Rue and-"Katniss trailed off.

"Let Haymitch tell you I'm not good at delivering this type of news."Effie pushed us outside.

"Wait!"Katniss yelled and went back inside.

   I ran inside with her leaving Effie alone. Katniss picked up baby Rue who was still sound asleep in her arms.

"You're bringing that thing?"Effie said.

"Of course and it's not a thing."I exclaimed.

"Damn you Effie!"Katniss yelled.

   Effie ignored Katniss and rolled her gray eyes.I looked at Rue's face. So beautiful then I looked at Katniss,so beautiful.

Like I don't know if the author mentioned that they even had other countries in mind that are treated in the present to just go with me and understand that it's different from the other books and time.
