Bombs are dropping everywhere and people are screaming. My foster parents must've abandoned me because i checked the entire house. Empty. I gotta get outta here! I search the house and find a post card. It spoke of a underground city and had an address on the back. This was a safe place! It had to be! I pack everything I feel that I'll need on the trip and grab my tiny dog. As i walk out a few miles I see where my foster parents dropped dead. A bomb had dropped on them and they weren't fast enough to escape it. I didn't feel sympathy though... they never got to know me or anything. I don't know them. They didn't even want me really. I bomb drops close but not close enough to do fatal damage. I begin to run and run as many miles as I can. I checked to see how many I truly have gone. I was going through 16 unfortunately 20 more to go. I calculate how many miles I'll have to go until I get there. If I travel for 3 days still have a lot to walk but if it was the wise thing to do since everywhere is getting bombed. It's nothing nuclear but it's still enough to wipe out every town city state. Apparently the only way that's safe is underground. It's already getting dark by the time I've ran a mile. I need to gather firewood and some dry grass. Easily, I found some dry grass... but wood was a whole other story. Everywhere I searched, no wood was available until I found sticks. At least that was something, I guess. When I finish building a fire I realize how hungry I am. I pull out a granola bar and share with my dog, Apollo. After singing for a bit for entertainment slowly I fall asleep while Apollo stands on guard to protect me from the dangers of this world. As i sleep, I dream about the terrible past... When I was a little girl I was an outcast. I never had met my parents but from what I've heard, my mother died from giving birth to me and my father had a heartattack from losing his wife and almost losing his daughter. I over heard them talking about my mother... her name was Blossom Gabriella Birdwind and my father, who has been said to have special abilities, is Jason Kay Birdwind. Once when I was in fourth grade, I dated and well I learned that boyfriends suck. Who needs them really? Never had real family, friends... all I've had is Apollo and me. Me and Apollo. Yeah, sometimes I get lonely and wish I was normal but then what good am I if am as normal as the rest? I wake up to the feel of Apollo licking my face. "Good morning Apollo" woof. "Wish my best friend could talk." For the last two days, I finally make it... though when I do, I pass out in front of a guy who looks my age and a elderly woman.
