"She took my baby brother away! My mother was pregnant and she still was not showed remorse from your leader!!!!!!!" My arms wrapped around his throat and his eyes fling open as he begins to gag. I could feel myself gain energy. The sound of cracking comes from his neck. My eyes begin to glow as his breathing seemed to slow and his eyes slowly start to shut again.
Don't.
I stopped choking him and he gasps for breath. He hugs me and cries into my shoulder.
"Am sorry... am sorry..." I get off him.
"Join me and get back what was yours. You have so much more potential than this."
"Okay." He opens the door and we escape together. We run directly into my aunt. Maxie hands me a sword.
"Join me"
"Why would I join a monster like you?" She scrunches up her nose. Pure disgust flickered in her eyes. She then smirks and laughs. Where was Blake and his family when you needed them?
"Because, you are one of me." She lifts off the ground as the entire building fades away. I feel myself lift off the ground on it's own. Blake and Lucy join us. Wings grow from my back as do a dress grows onto my body. Maxie lifts from the ground and wings grow from his back as well. His were black but feather like. Mine were like an angel's. His outfit now was a tux that was black as night. My dress was silk, long, and blue. I looked over at Lucy and Blake. Lucy was now wearing a short red dress that looked as if it were fire itself. Blake had a tux on like Maxie's except his was purplish like his left eye. Together, I knew we could defeat her... but would we be able to actually kill her? She took the first shot, almost touching my dress. The fight went on for what felt like hours. Before I knew what hit me, something sliced itself into my leg. I looked up to see her holding a gun. Smart but not smart enough. I pulled out a knife off of my thigh. She begins to laugh.
"Haven't someone ever taught you not to bring a knife to a gun fight?"
I laugh at her stupid question. "Yeah, but I don't follow the rules. I make them." The boost of confidence surprises her and I disappear only to appear behind her. I stab her in the neck before she can turn around. This wasn't going to be enough to kill her. "Everyone, on a count of three use your powers on her at the same time before she heals herself from the knife wound!"
One. We readied ourselves.
Two. I could feel each other gain energy off of her.
Three! All the energy we had was used on her. Her screams rang in our heads and pierced the ears of those alive. All we could think about was killing her. She hurt and had killed. Soon all of our energy drained and there she was, dead. "You got what was coming to you... you got what you deserved." I turned around to look at my allys. Our wings had been folded up so they weren't in our way. I looked at the broken glass of a mirror... what I saw, wasn't me. The crown on my head to the tips of the shoes, didn't look like the girl I was before. We spent the rest of the day walking home, walking to what was now going to be called our new home.
