His Revenge

Chapter 4

Two weeks later:

Kiara pov

Olivia and I have settled in and have started looking for work, it is not like we need it but it is kind of something for ourselves to start a new chapter in our lives. We see Chase and Noah quite regularly now as they helped us move things around and helped decorate our home.  We started to get to know them more and found out Chase was the son of a business executive which explained his lifestyle whilst Noah was a mechanic and lived humbly. They seemed more like brothers than best friends , Noah is always aloof and quiet around me but I just assume that's his personality. Whilst Chase on the other hand is quite friendly and always up for a laugh regardless of the situation. They moved in together in Chase's home two years ago and host parties on the regular. Eliza and I have become extremely close in such a short time too , ironically as she is quite the opposite of me as she is so adventurous and wild.

Claire and Olivia have gotten really close too as they have a lot of things in common , they both have a keen interest in fashion, boys and partying. I haven't spent much time with Claire as she always gives off a cold vibe towards me , I mentioned this to Olivia but she just said its all in my head.

Today we are planning to go watch a movie , Noah and Chase are going to pick us up with Claire and Eliza. I wear a comfortable sweatshirt and Olivia wears a floral dress on with black heels and fishnet tights. I put my hair in a bun and don't bother with makeup hoping my glasses will take focus away from my drastic eye bags due to all the moving.

We hear the beep off the car and exit the house. It is a cold evening I thought as I grabbed my sweatshirt tighter around my body. We sit in the back and say hi , Chase smiles as he wears a black jumper and skinny jeans. Whilst Noah is wearing a plain white shirt,skinny jeans and a leather jacket . They both look incredibly good, as usual.

Noah increased the volume of the music as we picked up Claire and Eliza and we shortly arrived. We entered the vintage looking theatre and got tickets to see a thriller , I was really excited however Olivia was nervous as she was scared of anything remotely spooky. As we sat down we got the back row seats I saw many looks from girls eyeing us in jealousy that we were with Noah and Chase . We found out they had a bit of a reputation in this town. 

Once we sat down and the lights dimmed I saw Olivia tense up and clutch onto Chase's arm he just chuckled and bought his arm around her enveloping her petite body into his. I could see her cheeks flush as she realised the intimacy between them.

I sat down with Eliza and it was great because we both laughed out loud when we spotted other people jumping at the scary parts of the movie. It was great till Claire and Noah began making out for the rest of the movie. Oh did I forget to mention Claire and Noah are apparently dating. I roll my eyes as I am disturbed by Claire's high pitched giggles.

"Can you guys cut that out I can't concentrate, we've come to watch a film not to hump each other in the dark" I whisper shouted. I saw her blue eyes narrow at me whilst Noah looked at me surprised. I notice anger flash in his eyes and I suddenly regret my sudden burst of confidence. I try to hide into my seat and end up feeling the heated gaze of them both for the rest of the movie.

As we arrive home I notice Olivia smiling to herself in deep thought, at this moment, I jump behind her screaming and she ends up falling onto the ground and crying In fright. 'Kiara how could you! You stupid rat!' She continues to curse at me as I collapse onto the ground laughing at her. 'Omg ...you should have seen your face' I state in hysterics as she tried to tackle me on the ground. Why were you in such a daze anyway I asked her after regaining my composure. She sighs and replied ' I like Chase and I think he likes me too'  and looks at me with her big brown eyes in curiosity, she always fell hard too fast and she knew I knew this. 'He's nice but we need to get to know him , we've only been around a month' she agrees and reassures me it is only a crush and nothing more. I just don't want her to be hurt again.
