As we arrive at the party there are girls and boys scattered in the front garden of Chase's home. It is a beautiful home and very extravagant and I am pleasantly surprised as we enter and two handsome guys hand us each a cup of substance, I'm guessing hard alcohol as everyone seems either completely wasted or tipsy. As we make it through the crowd of people dancing we reach the kitchen, there we spot Chase, he has a group of people surrounding him, two girls one blonde who looks like a Barbie, with blue eyes and an hour glass frame, she was beautiful however she held a cold exterior. On the other hand, the other was a petite red head and had a constant smile on her face she seemed like the life of the party as she tried to invite the brooding male, sat beside Chase, to dance with her. He had black tousled hair as if he had just woken up and striking green eyes. He seemed familiar, to someone in my distant memory but I couldn't put my finger on it.
'Come on let's say hi!' Olivia shouts over the pounding music, as she drags me towards them. All of them stare at us both incredulously, and there is a moment of awkwardness until Chase pipes up and introduces us. I keep my eyes on the ground as I could feel the heated gaze of his friends. After he introduced us we found out the red head was called Eliza, who was the best friend of Noah the guy she was attempting to dance with. And the blonde is called Claire she seems like she already dislikes me for some reason as she narrows her eyes at me. I felt incredibly awkward as Olivia made small talk, I was socially awkward and that would never change.
We end up sitting with them the whole night, Eliza seems very nice and welcoming, she was already planning days out for shopping and sleepovers like no tomorrow. She seemed like a child bursting to come out of a twenty-year-olds body. I didn't mind her excitement over every little thing, however, I found it very amusing how she ended up being best friends with Noah a man who has not smiled once since I laid my eyes on him. When he did look at me between my sisters rambles it was a hard scrutinising look that I felt incredibly vulnerable under.
After socialising with our new 'friends' I was quite tired I was never the one to be socialising with more than two people a day. I guess I always preferred watching the walking dead series tucked up in bed with a large vegetarian pizza over a raging party. That was what I wanted to do at this point. It seemed Olivia got on very well with them, and I really enjoyed talking to Eliza and Chase but I felt quite heated under Noah's gaze along with Claire who looked at me as if I just ate her foot. I guess I should really stop watching the walking dead but ironically I love horror movies even though I suffer from night terrors. Recently they've become better though.
Chase grabs my waist and catches me off my thoughts as I look up towards him. Our faces are inches apart as he smirks ' Party's over, sweetheart ' I look around and see everyone leaving. I really was lost in my thoughts. 'Do you guys need help with cleaning this place up' I asked, he then told me its okay he would get the maids to clean up tomorrow.
Olivia and I say our goodbyes and head home. I was extremely tired as I began dozing off on our ride home, Olivia was very happy with the new friends we made, however, I felt an uneasy feeling in my stomach that I couldn't shake off.
