A few days after the drunken hookup, he saw her, wandering down the street. She held her phone to her ear, peeking over around as if she was looking for someone. He was sitting in his car, waiting for a friend. Out of curiosity, he found himself ears dropping onto the woman's phone call.

"Morning, honey. Yes, I'm here" She says sweetly.

"Oh! I see you" She says cutely, hanging up and rushing across the street. She tightly hugged a male figure, her leg coming up dramatically. He felt a sharp jab in his heart, but willed it away as he climbed out of his car. His girlfriend, bounced over, her blonde hair cut short. She seemed to change her hair every time they met.

"I've missed you" She smiles, climbing into her tippy toes to kiss his cheek. He fakes a smile, keeping one eye on the woman across the street.

"How have you been? Have you missed me too?" She asks excitedly.

"Hmm" He half-heartedly replies. The blonde girl wraps her arms around his waist, pouting cutely. The woman crosses the street with the man, giggling fakely.

"It's been so long since we've seen each other. I missed my boyfriend" She says. He catches the eye of the woman briefly, before he was dragged to the outside seating of a cafe. Coincidentally, the woman and her date were sat right behind them.

"Everyone's been asking about you back home. Your poor mother is worried-" He cut her off.

"No she isn't, don't lie" He coldly demands. The girl silences, playing with a bracelet on her wrist.

"Wait, where's your bracelet?" She gapes. He looks down at his empty wrist.

"I lost it" He shrugs. The blonde girl jumps out of her chair, appalled.

"That was for our anniversary" She points out. He shrugs again, tapping his finger against the glass table top.

"Anniversary? I thought I gave that bracelet to Stephany? Or was Emma? I just can't remember" He says uninterestedly. He'd been sick of this clingy arm candy since they've met, but she was hot.

"Babyyy" She whines, tugging on his sleeve. Finally decided to end it, he turns.

"We're over" He says, his expression not changing as he turned on his heel and walked off. He could hear the gasp of his previous girlfriend, as well as the small laughter from the woman. A few seconds later, he felt the woman's presence beside him.

"What's her name? Tiffany? Gemma?" She asks, appearing beside him. He chuckles at her joke. His now ex looked like every other blonde and basically had the same annoying, whiny personality.

"She was number 8, I think" He replies.

"Mine was 'Businessman 2'. I like a man with money" She muses, throwing her hair over her shoulder. He chuckles, lighting the cigarette between his lips. She takes her own out, lighting it against his. Her eyes seemed to twinkle with a certain hint of mischief.
