A few days, she disappeared. No phone call, nothing. It was like she fell of the face of the earth. Although he didn't want to admit it, he missed her. The sarcastic humour, the snarky comments, the softness of her skin against his. It was almost 2 months before she returned. She rode into town on a brand new motorcycle, the bike roaring down the street like a jet. She threw her helmet off, waving her hair out. He first noticed the love bite on her neck, well that's how she got the new bike. She strut past him, her long legs carrying her elegantly.

"Baby" She smiles, hugging a young man behind him. She waved the waitress over, pointing to something on the menu. He watched as the man's hand lowered than what is necessary in public. A small rage burned in his heart as he watched her flirt. He lit his cigarette as a distraction, blowing into the air.

"Oh, there's my taxi. Can you pay for the meal? I promise to get you back" She asks sweetly. The man, seemingly hypnotised by her beauty nods slowly. She walks out of the restaurant, straight to him.

"Nice to see you again" She smirks, climbing into the passenger side of the car. He goes into the front, still inhaling his cigarette.

"Where have you been lately?" He asks.

"Everywhere, anywhere" She shrugs, taking the smoke from his lips and pressing it to hers.

"No set plan, huh?" He continues.

"I gotta get money somehow and if I stay here for too long, the cops will find me" She laughs. He whistles, taking a sharp turn.

"Whatcha in trouble for? Stealing and deceit?" He asks.

"No actually, assault and prostitution" She says casually. He nods.

"What about you? What you in got on your record?" She asks, kicking her feet up into the dash.

"Assault on a police officer, drugs, public indecency, arceny, you name it I've tried it" He shrugs. She whistles in appreciation.

"You should try working the corner, I know plenty of girls who would love a boy like you" She mentions. He scoffs in response. After a moment of silence, she speaks up.

"Actually don't do that" She says.

"Why?" He asks, driving out of the town. He didn't really know where they were going, but he didn't care. She was enough.

"Because I want you all to myself" She says.

"Getting possessive now, are we?" He teases. She scoffs, her hand lacing themselves in his.

"I don't do boyfriends. But if I did find out that you were hanging out with another girl, I would cut your balls off and feed them to you" She says seriously. She leans up, pressing a soft kiss to his lips before stepping out of the car. He, stunned by her confession, hits his head on the way out. She laughs loudly. It was the first time he'd seen her actually smile, and it was beautiful. At that exact moment, he made it his mission to make her smile
again.
