"I can't believe it! Are you out of your mind!? I hope, you have a really good explanation for your action!", the warden exclaimed angrily and pierced her little sister with her glare. "Do you really have to ask? I think you know my answer already.", Ayumi answered dry and placed her sister's lunch on her desk. It was already noon and Ayumi was in charge of the warden's meals, like she had explained it to her colleagues once.
After spending the whole forenoon together with cell 13, Ayumi had come back to the headquarters and had cooked her sister's meal. She already had known that she wouldn't approve her actions, but she didn't care. She shouldn't have forced her to spend time with a person she hated.
"Still!", Momoko groaned upset. "I can't believe, you let slip such an opportunity . . ." She buried her face into her arms on her desk, while she was welling up. "It was the perfect chance to get some information about Sugoroku Hajime!!!" And now fountains of tears squirted left and right beside her head. She clearly was disappointed.
"Oh, get over it already! I still don't understand what you're seeing in this guy? You really have a bad taste in men . . .", Ayumi growled and crossed her arms, as she looked at the pathetic form of her sister. There were so much better choices for her to date, but of course she had to stick with the worst one. Besides, shouldn't this viewing be about getting to know the daily routine of the guards and their inmates? Ayumi really couldn't believe that her own sister had tried to use her power to get closer to her crush.
"I don't want to hear that from you! Remember the last time you had a crush?", Momoko looked up at her with swollen red eyes and sniffed. Now it was her little sister's turn to glare. "Don't you dare to mention that!" Her violet aura appeared and she looked bloodthirsty at her. She hated to be reminded about this event in her past.
Unfazed Momoko retorted: "Why not? You're always criticising me about my taste in men. As if yours is so much better!" She looked at her and pouted. "Okay, that's it! One single word from you about that again and there'll be no food for you for a week!", she threatened and put her hands on her hips.
Immediately the warden stiffed and gulped down her own words. She knew that she had to scold her sister for not following her instructions and being disrespectful, but when Ayumi brought out the heavy artillery, she had to shut up.
Momoko was a terrible at cooking. She was jolly glad that she could manage some housework by herself, even if it didn't turn out good sometimes. But when it came to cooking, she was completely helpless. That was why she was more than happy to have her beloved little sister with her at Nanba. She helped her out around her chores and always cooked for her, when she asked for it.
Honestly, she really was lucky to have such a caring sister, even though she was the older one and so useless at normal domestic work. Plus, she loved her cooking so much. Not being able to eat her delicious food for one week, that felt like the end of the world to her.
Deeply sorry Momoko laid her head on her desk, only touching it with her forehead, and propped her torso up a little bit with her arms. "I'm very sorry for mentioning it. Please forgive me and don't take my food away from me.", she apologised whiny-voiced and kept that position, as a sign that she was really sorry for it.
Ayumi sighed and crossed her arms, as she looked at that sight. Food was really the only thing, which could make her elder sister act like a wimp. It really wasn't her intention at all to make her look like that, but it was the only way to shut her up when she brought up unpleasant topics, like this one about Ayumi's past with boys.
"Whatever, just eat your food, before it gets cold. I'll fetch the dishes later." With that, she turned around and made her way to the exit of the office. Relieved her sister looked up again and sat herself down on her comfy office chair. But something popped up in her mind, before she started her lunch.
