Sam put his finger up to his mouth, "Shh. They're might be someone in here. Colby and I have met people before."
I gave him the really face, "I know that." I whispered.

"She watches our videos Sam." Colby says laughing quietly.
I chuckle at him, and smile.

We all tried our best and succeeding at climbing a big metal fence.
When I was trying to get over I asked, "Colby help me." Sam was already over.

Instead of lifting up my feet, he grabbed the underneath of my butt.
"Watch your hands boy." I laughed, turning my head to look down at him.

He winked and smiled, "Sorry." Then he pushed up my feet.

"Thank you." I smiled back at him.

We were in, it was dark and you could hear the wind flowing through each tunnel, and the drips of water falling from the ceiling. Also there was creaking of the wood. Probably not a good idea to go in here but eh.

I looked over at Colby, "This probably isn't a good idea."
"It isn't," he chuckled with nervousness, "But we never have good ideas."

Sam was obviously listening to our conversation when he said back, "You got that right." Then he laughed. We laughed at his response.

Then, we continued to walk and listening to the sounds of the dark caves, as our flashlights would guide us.

Bang!! Smash! Crash!
"What the hell was that?!!!" I screamed, squeezing Colby's forearm. He touch the tip of my hand, comforting me.

Sam turned towards us and his face shown confusing and fear mixed into one. He turned off his flashlight, as did Colby, and he walked towards us. We stayed quiet to see if anything else would happen. After a minute or two, they turned they're flashlights back on. No, I still haven't let go of Colby's forearm.

Sam interrupted the silence, "Wanna go maybe...check it out?" He made an awkward smile.
I looked at him, "No. But at the same time, I kinda do.."
"Really you guys?" Colby was scared, "That's scary." He then randomly changed his mind, "You know what..sure."

He was trying to look like a man and if was cute..really cute...
I chuckled at the thought.

We started walking towards the noise. Me, I'm still holding on to Colby's arm. This is freaking me out and I know he can tell. Might explain why he's acting like a man; so he can protect me.

"Do you think it came from over here?" I asked, pointing towards a giant piece of coal, laying near a old, coal crusher.

Colby shrugged, "Let's go look." I gulped and squeezed tighter on Colby's arm as we walked over to the creepy thing.

Bang!! Smash! Crash!
This time it was louder, so we started running.

"Go go go!" Sam yelled. He was running in front of Colby and I. I was..in the back.

"I swear I hear something running after us!" I yelled, still running in panic. Colby then picked me up, bridal style, and started running with me in his arms. I hide in his chest; I'm not going to look behind him.

Soon, I could see the light of the entrance.

"Sam help her over." He put me on the fence and Sam grabbed me, pulling me off, then placing me on the ground.

I yelled, "Come in Colby!" He then hopped over the fence and was out of breathe.
"You okay?" I asked him, worried. He nodded.

"You?" He asked, as we started walking back to the car. I nodded. "Sam?" He then asked.
"I'm fine." Sam responded.

We heard something behind us, sounded like someone walking. Colby turned around, "Guys. Don't turn around but I'm just saying. We better run!"

He put his arm on my back making me run and Sam ran beside us.
"What? Colby? What?!!" Sam yelled as we got into the car.

"Just go!" Colby replied.
I looked behind me, out the window of our car, and there was a man in a miners outfit. He looked old, and he was covered in black. He was running after us. My heart started beating fast. He was limping as well. It was weird.

Sam noticed me, "What is it?"
Colby turned and shook his head no, like telling me not you tell Sam.

"Uh.." I said. Instead of telling him, Sam looked in his rear view mirror and saw the strange miner.
"I'm bookin' it, "Sam put his foot on the gas pedal and I went flying backwards.

When we got to Colby's, I sat in his room, still shocked by the fact we were being chased by a coal miner that came from an abandoned mine.

Colby was shocked as well, "You okay Kathryn?" He sat next to me on his couch.
"I'm just shocked." I sighed.

"Honestly me too." He admitted. I knew it. He continued, "Wait? Why haven't you gone home? It's 4:12 in the morning. Not saying that I want you to leave but you know that I mean." He stuttered.

I laughed, "Colby I know. Calm down. I told Jake I was staying with my mom. I wanted to stay here..with you. I don't want to see him." My cheeks were blushing.

He got a little closer, "Really?" He laughed.
I nodded, "You're the only person that had helped me through this Colby."

"Aw Kathryn. To be honestly, you don't know but you've helped me through stuff as well." He explained.
"Like?" I asked in confusion.

"Well," he looked at me, "I've been having a hard time with YouTube and people lately, and you've just relieved and took me away from it all."
My eyes were twinkling, "I have?"
He nodded, "You have. And I thank you for it."

He hugged me, I hugged back...

I want to kiss this boy...again..but..I can't.
