 Freshman year,

"This thing was totally not worth $60" Michael thought to himself as the tv screen flashed with a GAME OVER sign. "This game fucking sucks" His best friend,Jeremy said, sliding out of his chair he was sharing with Michael and onto the floor. "Let's just play Apocalypse of the Damned again" Jake wined from his blue beanbag chair. "We aren't playing that again because that's the only thing we've playing for the last month Jake" Rich said, glaring at the taller male, looking like he would break one of his thumbs if he said another word. Though he wouldn't say it, Michael only played it for a month because Jeremy seemed to enjoy it and when Jeremy liked something, so did he. Well, other than girls, Michael had already come to terms with the fact he never would. Mostly because he was already in love with his best friend and that was defiantly not going to change. Even though Jeremy somehow already had a crush on Christine, which he honestly had no idea why, Jeremy had only seen her a few weeks ago and had an entire one conversation with her.

"Well I'm going home if no one picks out a game soon" Jake said with an exasperated tone. No one acted like they were going to change the disc, so Jake got up and collected his stuff to leave the  Michaels basement. "Rich, Jeremy, need a ride?" He asked the two. Jeremy checked his phone,"My parents should be picking me up in about thirty minutes, is that okay with you Michael? "   "Yeah that's fine." Michael was not fine. Don't get him wrong, Rich and Jake were cool, but he only invited them over all the time so he didn't have to be alone with Jeremy and accidentally tell him anything. "No thanks, I don't need one, thank you for asking though" Rich said, luckily.
