The New Girl (OHSHC x reader)

19. The beach

You awoke from your peaceful slumber with the host club standing before you. You rubbed your eyes and looked at them with a grumpy expression on your face. "What do you guys want today?", you growled. Tamaki grabbed your hand and pulled you from your bed with great force. Mori was able to catch you before you could crash into the wall. " We are all going to the beach", Tamaki stated, running his fingers through his blonde hair. You sighed. "Why? So you can see me and Haruhi in our bathing suits". A sweat drop formed on the hosts forehead, excluding Kyoya and Haruhi. "The rest huddled in a tight circle, pushing you out. "She's on to us boss", said Kaoru. "She's smarter than she looks", added Hikaru. A vein popped out of your forehead and you gritted your teeth. "Shut up you perverts!", you yelled. The hosts were now crouching in a circle in the corner of your room, growing mushrooms. You grabbed a bag and put your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and an extra pair of clothes inside as well as some other essentials. Quickly got changed and jumped into the awaiting car with the mushroom covered hosts.

It took 45 minutes to drive to the beach, I was asleep most of the way. The car stopped, I was lightly tapped on the shoulder by Mori. I woke up with a smile and saw the ocean. It was a beautiful sunny day and I couldn't wait to go for a swim. Haruhi and I quickly got changed into our bathing suits, then I dragged us both out into the water. Haruhi splashed water in my face, stinging my eyes. I returned the favour and gladly did the same. I heard chuckling from the boys, what were they up to?

With the boys
The boys sat on the beach, watching the girls in the water. Their faces tinted pink. Hikaru's eyes lit up as he though of an idea. He smirked and whispered it to his brother. They both turned to the others, evilly grinning. "Do want to play a game?", they asked in sinc. The others hesitated answer. "See who can find out what Haruhi and (Y/n) are scared of". They all nodded and walked off, wondering what could they be afraid of. As well as wanting the prize, several photographs of the girls.

An hour later no one had had much luck. Hikaru and Kaoru had tried to scare them with ghosts, not scared. Mori tried
weapons, not scared. Huni tried the dark, still not scared. These girls were made of steel, unbreakable. 

With you
The boys had been acting really strange, trying to scare me and Haruhi. I heard them talking about a bet to see who could find out our fears for a prize. No one could ever guess my fear, for it wasn't something physical like spiders or dogs. It was mental, something that I could never forget or concer. I flushed it from my mind, memories began to flood into by head, but I managed to suppress them. I was safe when they were pushed to the back of my mind, no one would ever find them, not even me.

It was getting pretty late and I was walking along the beach. I looked out at the ocean, the waves tickled my feet. I giggled, then I heard a yell. I turned and saw Haruhi standing  on top of a large rock with two men harassing her, forcing her closer and closer to the edge. I sprinted at the rock and began climbing up the side, I could hear the boys running up behind me. I jumped up in front of Haruhi, giving the men an angry glare. "Stay away from her", you yelled protectively. The men chuckled and hobbled towards you, they were defiantly drunk. "Your pretty, do you wanna come back to my place?", he asked, reaching to grab your hand. You dodged and punched the guy in the face, he stepped back holding his now bleeding nose. The next guy came forward and clumsily swung his first at you. "You going down little girl", he mumbled. You kneed him in the face then knocked him off his feet. Both men were now bleeding from their noses, you had broken both of them. You gave them another glare and they ran off. You turned to see if Haruhi was Ok, but you heard a scream. Haruhi had lost her footing on the rock, she fell backwards towards the angry ocean and jagged rocks below. You reached forward, gripping one hand on the rock and the other out in the air. You grabbed Haruhi by the ankle, dangling her above certain doom. Tears streamed down your face, you memories could no longer be surppressed. "I can't lose you too".

The boys rushed up the rock and saw (Y/n) holding Haruhi over the water. They all ran over and pulled the two of them up, I could stop crying now. I ran back to the house we were staying at and hid in my room.

Everyone went inside to have dinner, (Y/n) still hadn't come out of her room. "Did (Y/n) say anything while she was holding onto you, Haruhi?", asked Tamaki. She swallowed her mouth full of food and nodded. "She said 'I can't lose you too'". Everyone fell silent, eating and thinking. "I'm thinking that her fear is more than we expected it to be", said Kyoya. The other nodded, they finished their food and went to comfort (Y/n).

I was sitting in the corner of the room, my knees hugged to my chest, a blanket hiding me as I silently sobbed. I heard a knock on the door and footsteps. "Are you OK", asked Haruhi. You nodded from under the blanket and pulled it off your head. "Please tell us what's wrong we want to help". You nodded again, wiping your tears with the sleeve of you jersey.

"I used to have a twin brother, his name was Shi. One day Shi and I were walking home and we were attacked, the guys we were up against were nasty, they restrained me and beat him nearly to death, forcing me to watch. They knocked me out and left us on the side of the road,  when I woke up I carried Shi to the hospital. He was in a coma for two years, but in the end... He didn't make it. I hate my self for it every day, if I was strong enough I could've saved him and he could still be here with me. This was 6 years ago, I could never let anything like this happen again".

You looked up at the other hosts, most cried. Kyoya sympathetically pat you back as you were engulfed in a heap of bodies. "We're sorry (Y/n)", cried the twins. You smiled and hugged them all back, you may have been alone then, but now you had them. The host club...
