The Untitled Rogue

Chapter 3

Here's the new chapter. From now on I'll post every other day, if I have something coming up that will prevent me from writing I will tell you about it in advance..........soooooo, yeah.

I was sitting on my so called 'bed', while rubbing my eyes. I just woke up at home and it was around mid day. I don't remember arriving at home yesterday so I just assumed Alex took control.

My eyes scanned around my room. The bed I was sitting on was actually just an old mattress I found, with some bed sheets as blankets. The walls were coated in a thick layer of dust. Just like my walls my mirror was also covered in dust, and had a crack from one corner to the opposite corner leaving only half of the mirror un cracked. Next to the mirror was a bucket that was cleaner than the rest of the things here. Next to the bed were a few dirty plates from previous meals, on top of my drawer. At the tip of my mattress/bed lay my backpack I used when I would have to go somewhere for long. It was an old backpack used for traveling, it had some bracelets on it, and my red bandana tied around the handle.

I got up and walked over to the mirror. I used my wind dragons power to blow the dust of off the mirror. I starred at my reflection. My skin color was a blackish brown. My hair was brown, it was fizzy with tiny Afro curls. My skin was smooth under the dirt and defined perfectly and sharp. I had a few blood scratches on my face that were probably from branches and Alex not being careful. I had one scratch though that I had ever since I can remember, I don't know how it got there though. It was placed a bit above my right eyebrow. My eyes were sharp and pulled back a bit because of my dragon side. My eyes were a bright forest green, they were like that also before the lab incident, but when I was ready to shift or shifted they were a light red color because of my vampire side.

I turned to the bucket and sat down next to it my legs crossed and eyes closed. I put my hands to the bottom of the inside of the bucket. I used my water dragons power and filled the bucket up with water. When I opened my eyes I used the water to scrub my face clean of most of the dried mud, dust, and blood. I then braided my hair into Ghana braids. I packed my backpack with a pair of fresh clothes, and bathroom  essentials. I kept on what I had at the moment and went into my kitchen. 

I looked around for anything to eat that hasn't expired yet, when I was about to give up I found a chocolate granola bar and took want I got. I trotted out my 'house' if you can actually call it that. I turned around and took a look at it. It was huge and wasn't actually a house. A few years back I found this place in the middle of the woods, it was an abandoned were-house. Before finding this place I slept in the trees. 

The house was huge but I slept on the ground floor in case I had an intruder I would be able to get to it fast enough. I dint ever get an intruder since I used my earth dragon to disguise the building as more trees. But, hey, you could never be careful enough. I shifted into my air dragon, Alex was happy so stretch her wings again. She picked up our backpack in her mouth and started to take of.

Any of my dragons could fly just when I was in my air dragon form I was ten times faster and had some wind/air tricks up my sleeve. When the river I was headed to came into sight Alex beat her wings faster. We were miles into the air, Alex decided to have a little fun, and started free falling when we're closer to the water Alex shifted into a water dragon and dove into the cold water. I stayed under water for a few minutes. A perk of being a water dragon was that I was able to breath underwater. I resurfaced and shifted into my human form. I went over to my backpack which Alex dropped onto the land on our way down. I took my bathroom essentials and took a bath in the water.

I got out put my fresh pair of the clothes on, which consisted of a blue, black, and white flannel together with a tight black shirt under it and short grey ripped jeans. For accessories I just wore a black leather chocker  with a single green ruby, the same color as my eyes. I had the chocker before everything happened, and from the time of my past that I don't remember. I din't put on any shoes so that my feet could roam the grounds freely. I dried my hair of with my towel which I then stuffed with everything else into my backpack except for my hair brush. I tried as much as I could to brush through my hair and just ended up braiding it the same way it was before. I then also stuffed my brush into my bag. 

 I felt fresh for the first time in two months. For the last two months I was out running around and forgot my stuff hear. I was gonna go on another trip but this time I wouldn't forget my backpack, which contained anything that would have any use to me. Well except my wand and chocker. My wand at the moment was strapped up my sleeve where I would be able to get immediate access.   

Alex stirred inside me 'Somethings not right, someone we don't know is out here looking for us.' Alex said uncomfortably.

' Isnt there always some one after us, wanting us dead?' I sated back to Alex.

'Yeah, well not like this he doesn't want any harm, he apparently has been looking for us for a long time'  Alex told me while reading the persons mind without him realizing. One of the perks of being us.

'Who is he?' I questioned her, curious of what this guy wanted.

'I have no idea, and for some reason I can't find out. His wolf just found out someone has been in his head and he doesn't like that he doesn't know who it is'  Alex stated as clueless as I was. I hated not knowing things it made a person week, just like love did. I loved my parents and they gave me away, I was blinded by love. Love could also be used against you, make you do something you don't want. 

Just as I was thinking this the green emerald shone bright against my dark skin. It has never done this before I thaught to my self as I stared at the beauty.

'Run, Ivy RUN!'  Alex shouted inside of me.

'Why, what's wrong?'  I replied standing there confused.

'Trust me, if you don't you will regret it, now RUN!'  When I finally comprehend what Alex was saying, I took of at my maximum vampire speed.
