Bend My Life *Legend of Korra*

Prologue

Prologue- 

"Now," Amon peeled the tape off my mouth slowly. I could feel the sticky substance in between my lips and in chunks on my cheeks. "Tell me again how you're not a bender." He waved my dogtag necklace in front of me. It was bright orange with the firebender symbol cutout in the center. 

"That's my father's, I swear. I can't bend," I lied. My hands were bound with tape behind the chair, and my ankles too. As much as I wanted to punch him in the nose, I couldn't at the moment. 

"Then it wouldn't matter, if I did this," he said, pressing his thumb to my forehead. I felt like my blood stopped flowing, he loosen his pressure. 

"No, it won't matter, it won't make any difference." I tried not to show the intense amount of fear I had at the moment.

I tried pulling away at the ducktape that bound my hands. I got it loose enough so that I could burn it. He placed more pressure onto my forehead as I showed that my hands were free.  I kicked him back and he flew against the wall next to the door. As he was recovering from the blow that he obviously didn't expect, I burned the tape on my ankles free and stood up, ready to attack again as he raised himself. 

I did another move, which sent a long flame at him, but he dodged it and it burned a hole through the wall. My next attack shot a long flame down near the ground, and his pants caught fire. I ran by him and grabbed my necklace as he tried to douse the flames. 

I ran out into the hallway and looked around, trying to remember how I got into that room. Everything was so fuzzy. I ran down a hallway and suddenly heard a loud alarm as at least ten men in masks came around the corner and began to attack me. 

A/N This is just a pretty rough prologue, but I have a forum, discussion thing in the Fan Fiction page. I'm still accepting new characters. I only have four so far, and I'm accepting up to 20 (four from each element including non-benders) :]
