Maya's POV
While Derek and Scott were talking I had a uneasy feeling that something bad was happening. Then I heard yelling then it died down. Next thing Scott came in the room followed by Derek smiling like an idiot so I said
"Why are you so smiley?"with a smile
"Well how about me and you go outside to talk in private?" He said still smiling
"Sure come on." I said dragging him out of the house.
"Ok why are you smiling like a creeper?" I asked confused
"Well I keep having this urge to protect you and never let anyone hurt you and I always wanna be around you, so I asked Derek and he said you have found your mate." He said smiling and blushing. I was so shocked and happy
"Really!? Oh my god that's great!"
I said jumping in his arms while he spun me around. He set me down and kissed me with passion. I pulled away smiling.
"I'm so glad that I'm your mate and your mine" I said hugging him
"I know." he said stroking my hair
There was a small comfortable silence before he said something that I've always wanted to hear.
"I Love You." He said looking into my eyes
I had tears in my eyes and I kissed him with so much passion and said
"I Love You too!"
