Flame Heart [Natsu × Reader]

Intro + Coming to The guild

Background: you (female reader) were good friends with Lucy as a child. You were slightly younger than her, but neither of you minded. You were poorer than her, and her father didn't like that very much, along with you as a person. You were kind of bubbly, but usually quite shy (and still are in the story) Lucy had always been into magic and dreamt of Fairy Tail. You grew older and separated, and one day hoped to see her again. You started doing magic around 13, (the purple flame) but never developed it too much. The story starts with you coming out of an alleyway to see Lucy, Natsu, Gray, Urza, Happy, and Juvia heading back to the guild. (Fyi, this story takes place around episode 51-53)
{Also, (Y/N) means your name, (Y/HC) is your hair color, and (Y/EC) is your eye color. Also you are around 15/16 when the story begins)

Chapter 1: You walked out of the alleyway to hear voices from the other side of the street. There are five people and a flying blue cat with a lot of luggage. The blonde girl looked very familiar. A thought popped into your head; 'Is it her? Is it really Lucy?' You started to get excited. You walked up to her and said "Lucy? Lucy Heartfelia?"
Lucy turned around to look at you. She seemed shocked to see your face.
"(Y/N)? Is that you? Oh my god!" She squealed.
She hugged you very tightly. As she let go, you noticed the pink mark on her hand.
"What's that?" you asked.
"Oh this? THIS is the mark of Fairy Tail!"
"So you got in?"
"Yep! I'm a Celestial Wizard!"
"Cool! I knew you would get in! I do some magic too" you replied.
"Cool! Let's see it!"
You made a small, purple flame in your palm. You stared at it then looked up to see a pink haired friend of Lucy's in awe. As you closed your hand to put out the flame, the pink haired boy tackled you. Your faces were very close and it was very awkward. You had no idea why he did this. You stared into his brown eyes then looked over to Lucy.
"Uh, Lucy?" you said.
"Lucy looked at you then up to the pink haired boy.
"Alright Natsu, that's no first impression" she said.
He got up and said, "Hehe, sorry, let me help you up."
He offered you his hand. You took it and he pulled you up.
"I'm just so happy there's another fire wizard around!"
"Oh, you're fire too?" you replied.
"Yep! I'm the Fire dragon-slayer!"
"Oh wow..." you said, surprised.
"Come on guys, we should get back to the guild" said the red-head in armor.
Natsu linked arms with you and dragged you forwards a bit.
"I'm takin' this fire chick with me!" he said.
You all walked together to the guild.  Natsu kept his arm linked with yours and Lucy talked with you.
"I noticed your hair is now (Y/HC) with hints of purple" she remarked.
"Huh, I didn't really notice" you replied.
"Well, I suppose I should introduce you to this group here. That is Natsu, that's Urza in the armor with the pile of luggage, that's Happy, the flying blue cat, that's Juvia with the light blue hair, and that's Gray in his underwear."
Gray jumped and found his clothes.
You giggled.
"That's the crew!" She said with delight.
Just then you all reached the front of the guild hall. You gasped in awe as you looked at it all. Then Natsu dragged you inside. A brunette with a beer looked over at the gang as you all proudly walked in.
"Hey Natsu! You pick up a girlfriend while you were out?" she said.
"No! Shut up, Kana!" he yelled back.
"Look, maybe if our arms weren't linked, she wouldn't think that..." you said, pulling away gently.
"Oh! I forgot we were doin' that!" he said as he pulled his arm away, blushing. You smiled at him and walked over to Lucy.
"You aren't thinking of me joining the guild, are ya? I'm not good enough! At least not yet..." you whispered to her.
"What? You're good enough!" she replied.
"No I'm not! I can't even really do ANYTHING with my magic!" you insisted.
Lucy then dragged you by the wrist to an old, small man that was sitting on the counter.
"Master Makarov," she said, "This is my old friend, (Y/N). I was wondering if she could train here."
"What's her magic?" he replied.
"Purple flame" you said before she could respond.
"That can be powerful if you use it correctly." he said. "I don't see why not."
"Sir, I am not that good yet..." you said sheepishly.
"We can fix that, and we will." he said with a smile.
