Flame Heart [Natsu × Reader]

Lucy's house

That day after a couple of drinks you needed a place to crash for the night.
"Hey Lucy, can I grab my stuff and sleep at your place? I would forget where Fairy Tail's guild hall is by morning on my own..."
"Of course! We can have a sleepover now without my dad getting fussy!" Lucy replied with a smile.
"Ya! This'll be great!"
"I'll go with you to your place" Lucy said and hopped off her stool. You both headed for the door, side by side. Lucy then shouted, "See you guys tomorrow!"
Natsu looked up at both of you just as you were about to walk out.
"HEY! Will Flame chick be back tomorrow??"
You turn towards him and reply "My name's (Y/N), and I will be back!"
As you and Lucy finally walked out, you heard Natsu say "Yes!"
You and Lucy both giggled.
"I think he's got the hots for you!" Lucy said with a smile.
"What? No way, we just met" you replied.
"I think so! He looooves your magic, not to mention your curves" she said with a smirk.
"Oh, shut up!" you reply, blushing.
"Nope!" Lucy grinned. "You know where to go to get to your house, right?"
You looked around and recognized the streets somewhat.
"Yeah, we should be good. Just a couple turns till we reach my home!"

You arrived at the doorstep of your apartment.
"I'll be right out, wait here. I just need to grab some things." you said.
"Kk!" Lucy replied.
You grabbed clothes, swimsuit, PJs, etc.  and put them in a small suitcase.
"Ready?" you said as you walked out.
"Yup! Follow me!" Lucy replied.
On the walk to her house, you caught each other up on life experiences. As you finally arrived, you both saw that the door was cracked open already.
"Great," Lucy said, "I should let you know now, I've been having a verman issue;" she opened the door, "A NATSU AND HAPPY VERMAN ISSUE!!"
You couldn't help but giggle at the way she said it, although you were unsure of what she meant. You peered inside to see Natsu chilling on what seemed to be Lucy's bed and Happy eating a fish on her desk.
"Hey, Luce!" Natsu said, "Your bed is so comfy!" He smiled and looked up to see both of you standing inside the house now. He stared at you for a good few seconds, then finally said, "Hey, (Y/N)! D-didn't expect to see you here!"
"Hi Natsu. I hear you've been having a habit of entering without proper permission?" you replied.
"Oh yeah, Luce's house is a hotspot for our gang" he said with a grin.
You suddenly started thinking of what Lucy said as you walked out of the guild. He's kinda cute... you thought to yourself, heart beginning to race as you thought of him stuttering earlier.
"Well Natsu," Lucy said, "Let me and my guest have the house to ourselves tonight, please."
Natsu started to stare at you again.
"C'mon... I could stay here with both of you..." He said with a menacing look. You had to look away to hide your now fully pink face.
"Natsuuu..." Lucy said with anger rising in her voice.
"Alright, alright, I'm as good as gone..." he said as he climbed off the bed. He opened the window and hopped out. Lucy then stuck her head out the window only to say "THERE'S A THING CALLED A DOOR YA KNOW!" You couldn't help but giggle. You looked around the place and soon realised that there was a passed out cat on her desk.
"Lucy..." you said nervoisly, "Happy's still here..."
She imminently turned around to see Happy.
"Happy!" She shouted, startling him, "Time to go! Natsu already left."
He freaked out and flew out the window screaming 'NATSUUUUU'.
"Now that those pests are gone, we can relax! Want some dinner?
You had been hungry ever since you left the guild, so of course you reply with a distinct 'yes'. After you had a nice dinner, you took turns in the hot bath. You both had slipped into some cozy pajamas and hopped onto her bed.
"Thanks for letting me crash here..." you said.
"Yeah, anytime. Sorry about Natsu."
"It's cool. Not your fault he breaks in"
"You ready to start training tomorrow?"
"Yes! I'm hyped," you said, "We should probably go to sleep now..."
"Good idea. Sleep well, (Y/N)!"

You woke up at 6:40, but Lucy was still asleep. Since you were on the outer side, you slipped off the bed quietly. You decided to tour around the place. You go to her closet and see some cute clothes. You decide against trying them on and go back out to your suitcase. Just as you open it, Lucy wakes up.
"Morning" you say to her.
"Hi... Want some breakfast?"
"Sure! Whatcha have?"
Lucy sloppily rolled out of bed.
"We have cereal and sushi as far as breakfast goes" she said as she hobbled towards where she keeps food.
"I'll have..." you said, but you couldn't decide.
"Here, I'll just give you some of both" she said.
After breakfast, Lucy was much more awake.
"Hey, if you want you can borrow some clothes of mine" Lucy offered.
"Oooh, really??" you said, thinking of her cute clothes.
"Yeah! Of course. Hey, if you wear the right stuff, you could get a few heads turning your way if ya know what I mean."
You laughed, but then your mind thought of Natsu. The way he was nice to you, the way he blushed around you, the way he looked at you, and the way he stuttered. You blushed a little just thinking about it.
Lucy got up and motioned for you to follow her to her closet. You did and you picked out some cute clothes together.
You were wearing a cute magenta skirt and a light blue tank top. Lucy wore a blue mini skirt and a hot pink crop-top.
You looked at yourself in the mirror.
"Wow. Thanks so much, Lucy!"
You always knew of her kind heart. You had a flashback of when her father was trying to kick you out of their mansion but Lucy stepped in front of you, protecting you. No matter what, Lucy had always protected you.
"You can leave your stuff here if you want" Lucy offered.
"Thanks! That sleepover was fun."
"Yep! You ready to go?"
"I was waiting on you" you said with a wink. You had a nice walk to the guild hall. As you both walked in, you saw Master Makarov and Natsu talking. Then Happy flew in front of your faces.
"Hi!!" Happy said with extacy.
"Hey, cat" Lucy said with a smile.
As Happy flew away, you saw Natsu look over at you. You waved to him with a smile.
He shouted, "Hey! It's Luce and flame chick! Come here, (Y/N)."
Your heart began to race again, but then you remembered it was probably just training since he's fire, too. You walked away from Lucy and waved her goodbye. You came up to Makarov and Natsu. "Hey, (Y/N). Cute outfit." Natsu said.
"Thanks" you replied with a warm smile.
Makarov looked at you and said, "So, I will be watching and helping, but Natsu is going to be your main trainer." You looked at him and he gave you a toothy smile. Your heart began to race again. You felt like you heard Lucy say 'lucky...', so you turned around just to see Lucy look away.
You looked back at Natsu, who then said, "You ready to start, flame chick?"
