A Journey Never Forgotten ( another Hunter X Hunter fanfic)

My name is Kai Freecs. I'm 12 years old. And I AM a girl, not a guy, don't make fun because of my name! I'm Gon Freecs secret twin. Our father abandoned me thinking I had no potential, but our mother had found me just days after and ran away with me, leaving our father, Ging Freecs. Our mother's name is Haitiel. Every time I say her name it sounds beautiful ( Hey-tee-el). I live in York New in a small apartment.

Here's the deal though.

I have never met my twin brother, Gon, but I REALLY want to! So since our father is a true legend, I feel myself growing stronger every minuet of every day. Our mother says I need to be careful with my power.

I recently learned how to use Nen, a rarely known fighting instinct using aura from within your body and soul. My Nen ability- I have learned to control the atmosphere around me and lift objects with a significant amount of Nen.

Awesome right?!

Ok now here's the real deal.

My mother sent me to go find Gon. I was so excited I nearly jumped out of socks!

I'm for certain I will NOT fail in finding my beloved brother!

Problem is, he doesn't know a single thing about me. He thinks he is an ony child, no siblings.

HE WILL FREAK WHEN HE FINDS OUT HE'S GOTTA TWIN SISTER!

But I'm not gonna let that stop me. I'm standing on the sidewalk next to the edge of York New, looking out to the mountains, hesitating to start my quest.

I finally take a step and break into a run, I turn around and wave to my mother.
