Johanna’s POV

I can’t believe what I was seeing. The pastor in the church I last attended, is right here in front of our class teaching. I never at all expected he was a teacher. But now that he actually is in the front giving a lecture on reality I have to admit he is kind of a good teacher. Wow, this is hilarious. This subject has always interested me since my first year, and now this teacher is teaching it. He teaches it nice. Simply stated but the point is there, really stirs up the mind to think. I remember in my younger years and even now the questions I’ve been asking. Why do I live, what does living actually mean, what is life for, and so on. Back then as if this questions we’re hopelessly unanswerable, or even if there was an answer, the answer would be more disappointing. But now my hope is renewed that it will, little by little, be answered.

“In our time these days, there are many who says you create your own reality…” He continued to speak.

“… but there is one reality that no one can escape and even deny. Many have tried to refute Its existence, trying to find ways to explain things without It but in the end have failed. Some discover it to be impossible without this as they continue to study, but some realize it on their deathbeds. But one thing is certain… it’s a reality that no one can dare disregard. The Ultimate Reality.”

I saw my classmate’s eyes beginning to feel the sting of wonder with what he said. Even I myself, was astounded. A few seconds and the bell suddenly rang.

“Ok for you assignment, read about the four principles of philosophy with emphasis to the Ultimate Reality in connection to our topic. Have a good day…” he said as my fellow students took notes and began to one by one leave the room. I slowly followed behind them.

“Miss Dumay, can I speak to you for a second.” I heard the professor say. I turned around and approached him.

“Yes sir, what is it?” I asked.

“I didn’t know you studied here, it’s a surprise to meet you again Miss Dumay.”

“A surprise indeed sir, I thought I was hallucinating when I saw you standing in front a while back.” I replied with my head lowered.

“Well, can’t help that… must be planned.” He replied with a smile.

“Yes, must be sir. Oh hey, I have a next class sir. ‘think I’ll be late if I don’t run off now.” I said as I motioned the door.

“Oh, right. I’ll just speak to you some other time, say lunch break?”

“Sure sir that’d be fine. Thank you sir… God bless.” I smiled as I went slowly to the door. I looked back at him once more and saw him smiling. Wow, pastor, brother, teacher. What more? He must be very gifted… I waved and went on to my next class.

   Rebeccah’s POV
I slowly entered my office as I put my things down. Oh, another day again. It’s been hours since I heard the preaching my brother-in-law delivered and I’m still not over it. Wow, that message was so powerful, the desire to know my calling was ignited in me. I want to know exactly what God has called me for, whatever ministry that may be, I know that His plan is always the best. And I believe Him.

“Rebeccah! Good morning, how was your week end?” My friend Rizbeth said as she approached me with one of her beautiful smiles. Wow, this woman so beautiful. She’s got the looks of a queen.

“It was fine, Rizzie. I was so blessed with the message yesterday. So encouraging…” I replied as we sat together in the chairs.

“Oh really? How nice! I begin to wonder what that message is.” She said as she held my hand.

“Well… it was about God’s calling.” I replied as I held her hand tighter. I saw the joy in her eyes as she heard my words.

“Wow, how beautiful. I wish I attended church yesterday… I was just so busy…” she sighed as she lowered her head.

“Well, that is okay. You can come next Sunday right? Well how ‘bout you, how’s your weekend?” I asked.

“Hmm, well I’ve heard Pastor Melchour and the rest of the ministry had a tent revival last Saturday night. Wow, that must’ve been great. I wanted to attend but boss got me new things to cover…” I saw the sadness in her eyes as she spoke those words.

“… I also really want to see Melchour again, I miss him. It’s been months since…” she continued to speak. Oh she remembers him again. I really wonder why this happened, they had a really good relationship. Oh well, relationships does go through challenges after all. If they’re for each other, they’d still be back together.
