Hey guys! Again, I'm sorry for vanishing into thin air, but I got attacked by a random 24 hour stomach bug that went around most of my family. Thank GOD it's gone.

I can finally write for you guys again. Not even kidding, I'm miserable away from writing.

Anyway, this is a request from @HedwigProngs,and I will gladly get this out for you! Anyone else who has a request to make, feel free to make it. Unless some weird freak accident happens, which it will now Bleeeh, I should update regularly! Love you guys and LET'S DO IT!

Have you ever had a fight? Not a fist fight, but a verbal fight? One so bad, that it really shakes you up?

I just had one with Cody. The first actual fight in three years of being together, and I couldn't stop crying.

Maybe I was being stupid. My father passed years ago, and while I didn't know him well, it still hurt me, because I missed out on having a father figure in life. 'Daddy issues' I know.

But I missed out on that. I missed out on having the soft dad who helped with boy problems, who can also be that stern dad who would spank my ass raw for being a complete idiot. My mom did that, and I loved my mom more then anything, well other then Cody. But no matter what she did.... I wanted a father figure.

So I visited his grave a lot, and Cody began to worry, and asked me about it. I wasn't meaning to snap at him, because he was just concerned, but I was soaking wet from ice cold rain, cause I had foolishly forgotten my jacket.

And just like that, we had our first, face to face screaming fight, and I couldn't move from the couch, because I had no energy. I needed Cody, so, so bad, and he was angry with me, and it was all my fault, and-

"Shhh, my sweet baby." I felt a hand on my shoulder. "It's alright, Daddy's here." I look up, and see Cody, smiling softly, and lifting me into his arms. "I'm sorry for fighting with you, Cody. I understand now, Maxxy. I talked to your mother, and I understand. Anytime you need a moment to be a little kid, and you want a father figure, I am ready to help, okay?" He says, stroking my wet blonde hair. I nod, and give a soft hiccup.

"D-Daddy." I whimper out, not really meaning to, but I craved it. He smiles and kisses my head softly.

"Come on, honey. Looks like someone needs a warm bath." He says, scooping me up into his arms. I giggle and cuddle into him, now realizing how cold I was.

**Time skip**

I sit in Cody's lap, watching Supernatural, and I felt a little sad.

"Cody... Do you want to go visit my dad?" I ask quietly. He looks surprised, and smiles softly, petting my head.

"Only if you want me to come, sweetie." He says softly. I smile at him and hug him, kissing his lips softly.

"I want you to come." I say softly. We get into the car, and stop by a flower store to get some roses. We pull up to the cemetery, and I feel a wave of sadness strike my chest. Tears well up in my eyes, and I grip Cody's hand. He squeezes my hand softly, and give me a very soft smile.

"Come on, baby." He says. We went through the gates, and went to his grave, and sit in front of it, setting the flowers down in front of the headstone.

"Hey, Dad... I brought my husband.. His name is Cody." I say. I never felt stupid talking to my fathers grave. Even though he might never hear me, it felt safe to talk to him. Like somehow, he was listening.

"Hello, sir." Cody says and I chuckle, swatting his arm. "I really love your son, so please don't shoot me?" He says. Smiling at Cody, with happy tears on my face, I had never felt better.

I may not have my dad, but I have my husband, and a father figure in my life.

Now I felt safer then ever.
