CHAPTER ONE | Oh what the hell?

"I hate school".

"C'mon Sarah, it's not THAT bad, I mean you get to see me. And Michael. Isn't that enough for you?" I was having this huge wide smile on my face, while I was sitting in the middle table at the cafeteria.

Michael raised his eyes from his phone and laughed at my face. "You are such a big liar Katie."

"No I'm not!" I shot Michael a glare while kicking his leg from under the table.

"Owwwwwwwwkay, okay, Katie's right, today is different than any other first day of school, wanna know why?"

We were both looking at Michael waiting for his answer, while he was waiting for our answer. We just sat there staring at each other, confused as hell.

"Well I guess I'll just say why, because today is our last first day at school, no more after this year baby!" Michael started raising his hands up and down the way he did whenever something good happened.

Just then the bell rang and Sarah jumped from her chair and disappeared from the cafeteria.

Poor Sarah, she was going through a lot. Her summer was a disaster, her father passed away on the second week of the vacation.

Michael and I were there for her the whole time. Although we didn't even see her. She didn't even come to the funeral. Once she knew the news she flew to Las Vegas with her band friends, or whatever they were. It was all a blur to her.

I had gym class and I was late. I wasn't even wearing my athletic wear. I rushed to the girls' lockers room, threw off my jeans and t-shirt, wore my shorts and tank top and hurried to class.

Great, they were standing in this mini half circle, and there was this teacher talking about something. All that I could hear at that moment was bla bla bla.

"Were did you go?" I asked Sarah as I was tying my shoe lace.

"Nowhere, where were you, I waited for you at the entrance of the-"

And that was the moment that changed my life forever. Before Sarah could continue her phrase, I saw all the students standing to the side and staring at us. Then I saw him. The teacher. The new gym teacher.

He had this really messy dark brown hair, but it looked so good, and his eyes were... I couldn't see his eyes that well, but I guess they were dark brown too. You could see this amusement look in his eyes when he was talking. And his cheekbones were perfect. His lips were pink colored; they formed a straight line when he closed his mouth. His face was beautiful and prominent. And his body was something else. I couldn't see much of it, he was wearing these trousers but I can tell he had long legs. He was wearing a t-shirt, but I could see his biceps, and triceps and all that stuff and they looked muscular. I could basically write a book about how attractive my gym teacher was. Wait, whaaattt---

"Miss!"

His voice broke my reverie as I discovered that every eye in the room was looking at me. This was terrible.

"Yes?" I tried to hide my fear as I was looking at him in his eyes. As always, I succeeded.

"Where do you think you are?"

This was so hard. First he was standing there with all this smug face and beautiful figure. Second, I didn't want him to have a bad impression.

"Umm I'm in gym class?" I mean, I was in gym class.

I could see his hands being formed into fists now, the amused, attractive look in his eyes disappearing, and a rage forming instead.

"First you're late to class, then you start talking with your friend back there not paying attention to what the teacher is saying, and now you're being funny!"
