It took the rest of the day to actually make it to Kirigakure, and that was with Mei's help. I couldn't imagine where we would've ended up if she hadn't been there to help us. It was a Hidden village after all. There was no way we would've been able to find it if we had been on our own. This whole land was covered in mist, but only let up once we reached the Village. I now understood why it was called the Village Hidden in the Mist. The mist hid the village quite well. Getting through the border hadn't been as tough as I had thought it would be either. They asked to see our papers and let us through, which was a complete mistake on their part. They really should be more suspicious of us.

I stared at the village that stood tall in front of us. It was relatively... dry, compared to the rest of the land. The buildings were big and bright, the Mizukage's building even bigger than the rest of the buildings. To be honest, standing there looking at the big village felt rather... intimidating and a bit threatening. Infiltrating a Hidden Village, one of the 5 Great Villages no less, was nerve-racking. Worse than that, I knew most missing-Nin came from this village which only served to make my suspicion of these people grow.

"We will have to rest somewhere." I stated, looking around at the village. "The closest Hotel would be best."

Kai nodded and looked around. I stared at him. I still didn't know what his strengths were. He glanced at me before continuing whatever it was that he was doing. "There should be a decent hotel a few blocks away."

"Lead the way." So he did. We followed as he led the way through the complicated streets. I had no idea how he knew where he was going or how he didn't get lost. These streets were so complicated. You think you're going the right direction and then hit a dead-end. Some streets led to taverns, other to homes. It was extremely confusing. It took us the time span of 17 minutes to get to the hotel. I glared at Kai's back. A few blocks away, my ass. We were closer to the Mizukage's building than even their academy was. Though, I suppose it would benefit us to be this close to the Mizukage. We went in and got several rooms close to each other. The hotel's rooms were small, but cosy. It was nice.

I looked out the window. I had no idea how long it would take us to do the recon in the village. I didn't even know what kind of reconnaissance we should be doing. I stared at the birds fluttering around outside, thinking. It seems I may not be as good at strategies as I would've liked.

This village was big and we didn't even know where to go. We could get lost within seconds. I straightened my back. That's it. I know exactly what we had to do first. I turned to my team –which now included Temari and Usagi- and gathered them closer. We had no idea if there would be someone listening in. I spoke to them about the festival while writing down my plan. My plan was to map out the streets by exploring the village, but not just the streets, underground passages too. I was 100% certain that there would be underground passages. This was one of the most suspicious, or at least secretive, villages I knew of. We had to figure out where the passages would lead and how to get to them. By doing this we could take shortcuts to certain places, including anywhere the Mizukage would be. Of course, only after we've done this would we be able to spy on the Mizukage. I think that I would be best suited for this specific job, but since I didn't know what Usagi and Kai's strengths were I couldn't be sure. I knew that Temari and Natsumi would definitely not be suited to spy on the Mizukage. Temari relied on her wind element and fan, which could not help in spying, whereas Natsumi relied on her weapons and her strength. She mainly used a huge hammer to fight. I was surprised by the size of the thing when I first saw it. It was half the size of her body – which was really saying something since she was 5'2 and she wasn't even fully grown yet! She was a whopping 5 inches taller than me, and I was a year older than her.
