"Sorry I kept you waiting, Kakashi. I see you've still got those brats with you. That one's still trembling. Pitiful." Zabuza pressed down more on his blade and I struggled to keep his sword away from me. I let go of the handle with one hand and put my hand on the blade, pushing up. I winced when the blade cut me, but continued to push. I heard sizzling and saw that there was smoke coming up from my Katana where my blood was. It began to crack and I knew I had to move before my sword broke. I pushed one last time and jumped backward, just out of range of his huge sword. The moment my katana hit the ground, it shattered. What the hell was that? What did Zabuza do to my katana? I closed my fist and refrained from wincing. I can't let him see my pain or it'll be used against me.
Sasuke's eyes widened when around 6 Zabuzas – clones most likely- appeared, surrounding them. He smirked. "I'm trembling with... excitement."
"Go on Sasuke." Kakashi smiled at him.
One of the Zabuza clones attempted to sever Sasuke's head from his body, but Sasuke was faster. He destroyed all 6 clones in one go.
"Ooh, so you could see they were water clones, huh? The brats are improving. Looks like you've got a rival, Haku." He said, but somehow he didn't sound impressed at all.
"So it seems." The boy next to him said. So... his name's Haku, then?
"Well, well so I had it right. It was all an act." Kakashi-sensei said something about a mask, but I wasn't paying attention. I was staring at Haku. The boy, somehow, seemed so kind, yet so menacing. Maybe it was his chakra? I don't know.
"That's it. I'm taking him out. Who does he think he's fooling? Hiding behind that mask like some sort of clown." Sasuke said. I glanced at him from out of the corner of my eye. Yet he had you completely fooled.
The boy – Haku – suddenly began moving toward us, and quite fast at that, in what seemed like a tornado. I kept an eye on Sasuke as he prepared to stop Haku's attack, but I got there first. I appeared beside Haku and kicked him. "Sorry, but I won't let you touch them." I smiled. "Now let's see who's the strongest between you, me and Sasuke-san." Sasuke took that as his cue to come and join me here. I discretely moved closer to him. "Tag team, Sasuke-san." I whispered and he nodded. I moved closer to Haku and formed a hand sign, or it looked like I was getting ready to use Ninjutsu but really I was just focusing my chakra.
"Sakura, let them handle him." Kakashi-sensei said. Sakura agreed.
I breathed in, and when I breathed out I ran toward Haku. I grabbed shuriken out of my weapon holster as I ran and threw them at him, but he dodged them all. Save for the one shuriken I had hoped would be on target. I hadn't aimed for Haku with the last shuriken, but rather at the senbon he was holding and it hit the target straight on. It hit the senbon so hard that it made Haku's grip loosen and let the senbon slip out. I met him in the middle with a punch in his face, sadly he caught my fist. I sighed. "Are you going to dodge every weapon or punch I throw at you? It'll get too boring if you do that." I said. My lips spread into a smile and it turned into a sly smile. I moved my left foot to just an inch behind his front foot and feigned a punch. Haku predictably stepped back to avoid getting hit instead of just blocking, almost stumbling over my foot, and I took my chance. I ducked and kicked at Haku's feet, successfully hitting my mark and swiping his feet out from under him. He fell and landed on his back, but he was up again before I could do anything else.
I stepped back and bumped my shoulder to Sasuke's. It was the signal for him to fight. He ran forward and they began fighting. I wish I had a special Jutsu. It would really help in this moment. I looked back toward the fight and saw that Haku and Sasuke were both holding weapons. The weapons were pressed against each other and they were putting pressure on the weapons, to see whose would win. They used their speed to attack and block attacks. They moved really fast and I was lucky enough to be able to keep up with watching the fight. "We want the bridge builder, not you. If you back down, I won't have to kill you." Haku said. I frowned. Somehow that sounded like it would be a relief for him not to kill us. Maybe I was right. Maybe he was a kind and gentle person.
