The heartbeat you felt in the morning
Laying your head on my chest.
It felt like the sunshine that I hadn't felt for quite a while
The smile
That has gone by unseen
And the hands that have been un-held
For many a year.
Now with your simple gesture,
Blood pumps through my veins
With dire need.
I close my eyes and savor the priceless moment
You are mine, I am yours and we are Happy
Just in each others arms.
What better world could we wish for?
