Waking up

Three years have since passed
I haven't been steadfast
In letting you rest in peace
As you suddenly deceased

It feels just like yesterday
That we bounced off the alleyway
Shopping spree somewhere  safe
Rocking in an armchair rave

How fast time  flies
While memories arise
Like a lamp lit late
As we roar in debate

I wake up late at night
Craving you and daylight
Hoping it all had been a dream
That we are truly set agleam

Life isn't ABC
It's not all rosy, and greasy
I wake up from deep slumber
Life really Is a fast number

The maker pulled a fast one
He verily is second to none
Even as I ask for an exchange
If only he could interchange

But I live in a fantasy
A labyrinth wreathed with conspiracy
Fast flowing forever, farewell
Once again I wake up in this cell

I have to Stand up  to this life
Though all within it I strife
I have to realize i am asleep
And it was but just a dream.
