Chapter 7~moving out

today Lin and I were going to start packing up my apartment and selling my newly bought furniture because I recently moved back to NYC from teaching at my old High School in Ohio. I could sell all of my furniture now that I was moving in with the love of my life and I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else but with Lin. Lin and I walk into my apartment and start putting things in boxes and eventually it gets pretty late and I say "hey babe do you wanna just stay here tonight and pick back up in the morning before the show?" Lin tiredly replies "sure hon"

(Lins POV)

_____'s apartment was nice, way nicer than a couple of my NYC apartments. If anyone knows what it feels like to start off with no money its me. Her apartment smells like lavender and it has a homey vibe. I feel like my house is going to slowly turn into this and I had absolutely no problem with it because I loved her style. There was a tapestry over her bed and an in the heights poster above her desk signed by the one. the only. KAREN OLIVOOO aka my best friend ever besides Chris. I could also tell that she liked coffee because she has a bunch of it and even has a bunch of various mugs hung up on some type of wire frame thing, it was pretty cool I have to admit. I start packing up her mugs and coffee collection when she comes into the kitchen and says "are you sure you want those in our house hon?" I gave her a smile and said "of course hun, I only have plain white mugs and I need diversity :)"

it is now about midnight and _____ just asks me if I want to stay the night before everything goes and I say "sure hon" we were both pretty sweaty from moving things so we hop in the shower ~together~ it felt so nice to feel her presence all the time and to feel her love. I could tell that she loves me so much and that makes me happy because I love her a lot too :)

TIMESKIP 1 WEEK

3rd POV

you are finally settled into Lins home and you felt like it needed some upgrades as far as furniture and decor and stuff like that so you decide to ask to go furniture shopping and he agrees and lets you take the wheel. you picked out a new couch that was grey and you felt that it would give the home a new vibe. You also picked out a new bed spread and some other things just to spice up the large "apartment"

eventually everything arrives in the mail and you and lin get to work on how to figure out the stupid ikea directions, it was a blast.

Finally, the house felt like a home and both you and lin were very satisfied with the outcome :)
