chapter 15~old memories

your POV

I was curled up on the couch next to lin when I realized that I actually have siblings and I just totally forgot. 

I say "Lin!!! Babe!!!! my siblings"

He lifts his head up "huh?"

"I have siblings and I totally forgot. Ive just been so busy with pip and our wedding and Hamilton I just totally forgot and after our parents passed I haven't really talked to them"

"wait...let me get this straight, you have brothers and sisters???" he said

"yeah I have 2 sisters and a brother theres Liza, Julia, and Adam"

he laughed "for the last 2 years you failed to mention that you have siblings?????"

"yeah, I guess haha"

"well hun you need to call them"

"I will right now"

I picked up my phone and called Julia ring ring ring "Jules?" " _____!!!!!!!! Hi we haven't talked in so long whats up?" "well Im kind of married and have a child" "WHAT?!?!?!?!!?!!?!? you need to come and see us STAT"

the conversation went on, we caught up and stuff.

I asked lin if we could fly back to ohio for a week and he said 

"okay hun but let me call and tell everyone at the theatre that we need another week"

timeskip one week

we arrived at my sisters house and I gasp hug lin and knock on the door. Julia opens it and all of my siblings, and their families come out and greet us 

"_____ you failed to mention that you married Lin-Manuel Miranda"

Lin gave me a look and said "hun it seems as if you fail to mention a lot"

we all catch up for a while and then we decide to take a trip to their private lake down the street 

we all pack up and head down to the lake and Lin kisses me on the cheek and says "your family is almost as perfect as you" 

Lins POV

One of ____'s nieces apparently is apart of the hamilton fandom thingy and she was literally fan girling the whole time I was there but I was used to it. her family is so nice and they seem to like me but they don't like that they missed our wedding and honestly I wouldn't either. 

my wife, her sisters, and her brother went out to a raft thing in the middle of the lake, reliving childhood memories which was nice. I sat there holding pip. I was so happy to see my wife have fun. 

timeskip one day

your POV

I asked Liza if Lin and I could take a day for ourselves and I could show him around town. she of course agreed and it was just Lin and I for the rest of the day.

We walked around town and I showed him my old high school where I taught AP US history for a while. I also was in matching band, played the cello, and was a big part of the theatre department. I graduated high school as valedictorian and with top honors. I explained this to Lin and he was obviously blown away. we walked inside the building where I ran into my old band teacher.

he said "well if it isn't Eliza Hamilton" I laughed and asked how he was doing. He saw Lin and said "well hello Mr. Lin- Manuel Miranda, you better be taking good care of my best student" Lin laughed and said "always" he asked how we were doing and we explained how were married and have a child and he said "well good for you both, well i better be going have a nice day you two"  

We ran into a couple more people and talked and stuff

then we went out to the lake again and kayaked and finally I was like "Lin lets go out to the raft and have some fun" he of course agreed because he is like a 5 year old at heart. We swam out and I beat Lin out there because I used to be on swim team. I pushed him off a couple of times and he got me back by throwing me off. we had so much fun together.

next Lin and I got dressed up and went to dinner somewhere nice downtown. It was a modern seafood place and we just talked about going back to work an the tonys coming up in a couple of weeks. we also talked about having a second child but tonight I just relaxed and enjoyed my husbands presence.

timeskip a couple of days

It was time for us to leave and I was sad but I needed to get home 

(by the raft I mean the things with the trampoline and the blob thing coming off of it lol
