Lins POV

I wake up to crying from the other room. My wife was in the nursery for our new child bawling her eyes out. "hun... whats wrong?" "I want our child to have us all throughout his/ her life *sniff* I want you to walk her up the aisle *sniff* I want you to be his best man *sniff* and I want to experience it all *sniff* my parents won't be here to see their grandchild... they weren't here for my wedding" I start to tear up and say "honey... you don't have to worry... I want you to know that... I will protect you and our child." I help her out of the chair and walk her back to our bedroom. "now, lets get some sleep. Little one should be here any day now"

(timeskip 2 days)

my very pregnant wife and I were watching gilmore girls.... her favorite when she squeezed my arm and said "lin... hun... its go time" I quickly grabbed her up bridal style and drove her to the hospital and called my parents and my sister. my wife requested that I call renee and jazzy too. and sure enough we were going to have our first child :0

your POV

I was handed my child and sure enough it was a girl. I felt so overjoyed... and in A LOT of pain they quickly took her away and washed her off and all that stuff and then Lin was like " what should her name be" I said "how about phillipa... pippa for short... it was my mothers name" (I love that name <3) Lin took my hand and said "that is a beautiful name honey" they handed my daughter back to me and she looked a lot like lin but had a touch of me in her eyes. I had no problem at all.... she was beautiful

Lins POV

honestly, I hated seeing my wife in so much pain but it was all worth it when I got to see my absolutely gorgeous child. I asked _____ what her name should be and she said "phillipa... pippa for short... it was my mothers name" I responded with "thats beautiful honey"
