chapter 8~ two show days

3rd POV

It was a two show day. the longest days ever where you spend all day at the theatre and you rehearse and get to know each other as cast, but today you weren't looking forward to it. You had to be at the theatre at 11am to get ready for the matinee but you were so warm, you didn't want to leave lins touch, his smell, his love. you had your arms wrapped around him snuggling him and him snuggling you back

Lin soft voice woke you up "my love, its a two show day" you whined not wanting to leave him he said "don't worry, theres always tonight ;)" you nodded, yawned and put on your glasses. Your hair was in a messy bun and you were just wearing one of lins shirts and some shorts that you got from target in college. you walk downstairs and make coffee for the both of you.

last night you guys watched rent and you fell asleep early.... Lin must've carried me up the stairs... you thought to yourself.

you turn around and see your rack of coffee mugs.

you smile and call lins name

he responded "yes my dear" and came down the stairs

you point to your mug collection and say "thats so sweet honey"

he chuckled, gave you a hug and kiss and then hustled back upstairs

you grab the two cups of coffee and head into the bathroom and hand lin his coffee, he thanks you and then you proceed to pick some clothes to wear

You choose your favorite crewneck sweatshirt with some flowers that says "the lumineers" in small writing at the bottom. then you pick up some leggings you got from lululemon years ago and pick out some cute knit socks to wear with your birkenstocks

you head into the bathroom to get ready to go soon with lin fixing his beautiful dark brown hair beside you.

you put on some concealer, powder, blush, highlight, and then mascara. you then proceed to put your hair in to a bun. you grab your contacts shove them in your black "herschel" back pack because you didn't feel like putting them in yet. you also put your laptop, charger, and makeup bag into the black bag as well.

you grab a scarf and jacket from your closet and headed downstairs and put your coffee in your to go cup and called lins name. he darted down the stairs and said " ready to go my love!" you hold hands all the way downstairs and say hi to the doorman and head outside.

you had extra time before having to go to the theater so you go to central park for a bit.

you and lin talk. you think to yourself ....god, even when he is wearing casual clothes he still looks so handsome... Lin was wearing some loose jeans, a sweatshirt, a scarf and a coat. he also had his hair in a bun and was wearing his glasses because he didn't feel like putting contacts in. you also had the same backpack except his only had one pin on it and yours had exactly 25.

finally, you arrive at the theater and everyone greets you guys and laughs at how you were practically matching.

you hear the five minute call and all of a sudden you are singing helpless. In this scene you get to kiss Lin and its amazing. you can't help but think how long its been since you two had been ~romantic~ lately. but you had just the plan :)
