A/N I'm in love with this song^ and I can't get it out of my head and I listen to it while writing this so. Also, if I use any Spanish or French and it's wrong please do correct me and then yell at Google Translate for me. I enjoy how the Soulmate part just doesn't exist yet! XD
Thomas, headed back to his dorm After visiting James, and learning his way around campus a little. He hoped his room mate was there so he could grace them with his presence. Okay that was self centered. He unlocked the door putting on a smile when he herd shuffling of feet. He pushed it open, a ma-boy turned around to face him mouth open words half formed, and he froze. Thomas was shocked because the person in front of him, was his all time crush. (Yes I am a child shut up) the loud mouth, immigrant, stood completely still in silence. Thomas expected a retort or yelling. Little did he know that Alex's mind was at a stop, having jumped out the widow with his plans, along with his words. "Am I going to have to start a conversation?" Thomas snorted, raising an eyebrow, expecting that to kick Hamilton into gear.
Alex didn't know what to do this thoughts had run dry, all of a sudden. Screeching to a stop. He frantically tried to pull his plans back into the room, tried to pool them on his tongue. Nothing he came up dry again and again. Nothing not even a comment on what Jefferson said. Panic was setting in fast he need to get away, need to say something, anything! But like almost always he was at a huge loss for words, words that he hadn't practiced, hadn't gone over. And over. He was out and nothing came to mind. And for once his mind was at a complete stop.
Thomas was waiting for Hamilton to say something, anything would work. Silence wasn't Hamilton's thing he was loud, obnoxious, and an adorable hot head. Finally Alex just turned around and continue to put his things away, ignoring Thomas. Thomas shrugged maybe he was just, coming up with something to say.
-time skip-
It was two hours before lunch, when Alexander said anything, he had set up his Laptop and was just sitting there typing. Thank God when it came to writing Alex had only experienced one writers Block in the past year. He was never at a loss for words, when it came to writing. There was no need for talking when he wrote, no need for him to go over things making sure he didn't mess up. No writing he was free to just write. And Alexander would be happy to do it for the rest of the day.
But his stomach had other ideas.
Alex stood up and moved to the kitchen. "Shit." Thomas looked up from his phone. Sighing Thomas's mind screamed thank you. Something other then silence, and the sound of keys. "Shit what?" Thomas rolled off his bed. Alex jumped, not noticing Thomas walk into the room. "Shit we don't have any food kind of shit." Alex snapped, taking Thomas by surprise, Alex had been quite this enter time, and he was finally getting heated. "Well go get food." Thomas snapped back.
"Not that easy." Alex huffed, pulling on his shoes. "How is that?" Thomas teased. Not taking any notice in the way Alex's shoulders Tensed. "You," Alexander took a breath hopping his voice wasn't shaking, "you need to come with me, because I have absolutely No Idea What you like." Alex growled the No Idea and glared at Thomas. "All right then, I'll go with you." Thomas glared back and pulled on his shoes.
-pick a random store I don't care-
Alex slowly followed the Giant Tower of Magenta through the store picking up little things here and there. A gigantic box of Rainbow goldfish, a bag of apples, four boxes of coffee, Thomas had just watched as Alex raided the Oreo aisle. "You want a different flavor or kind?" Alex asked hesitantly, to Thomas it was out of character for Alexander to be shy but after this morning Thomas didn't know what to expect anymore. "Fudge covered." Alex nodded and pulled two things off the shelf, putting them in the basket. Thomas finally took notice of the tension in Alexander's shoulders and his stiff movements, but he walked away before Thomas could question it.
-almost 30 boxes of Mac and Cheese later-
After unloading this food and drinks into the room. Alex retreated to his Laptop much to Thomas annoyance. A loud knock on the door, pulled Thomas out of Pinterest and Alexander out of his writing. Another loud bang, before either could get up. "I'M COMING I SWEAR IF THAT'S JOHN!" Alex was out of his seat faster then Thomas had seen him move all day. The noise in the hallway went silent. "IT WAS JOHN!" Alex ran over to the door and threw it open. Catching sight of a freckled face and puffy dark brown hair. "Lexi! Hey... you didn't answer your phone, we got worried." Thomas raise an eyebrow in the other room. "Lexi?" He whispered to himself. "I'm fine God guys I'm not a child." Laf raised and eyebrow, "No need to remind us mon amie we know." Alexander made a wounded noise in the back of his throat.
Thomas stood there as the group laughed at the noise, well two laughed Lafayette, they gave Alexander a upset look. In away Laf was being to much of a older sibling. Thomas walked out in to the kitchen giving the group a full view of him. "What's he DOING HERE?" John yelled causing Alex to flinch slightly. "Oh... right he's my room mate. Sadly." Alex added the last part as an after thought. "I'm surprised you haven't killed each other yet." Hercules said. Laf finally laughed, pulling his Soulmates hand a little. "That is true!" John just heavily glared at Thomas, who glared just as heavily back.
After shooing The Revolutionary set away Finally. He made a cup of coffee and picked up a bag of Oreos out of the cabinet. And went over to his bed and dug himself a hole in the blankets and pillows he had. He stared at his wrist, is large yet small cursive was written, "Just give me a chance," Alex had fallen in love with the words. The words his soulmate will chose to say to him at one point. Alex would often just look at the words for hours in end. Meeting his soulmate was one of the most important things in Alexanders mind. His parents weren't soulmates and look where that ended. His father was abusive, to him and his mother, then just walked out when Alex was 10. Alex wanted his soulmate more then anything. He found it stupid at times.
Thomas looked over at Alex who had by the looks of it gone to sleep. Thomas to the chance to roll his Magenta sleeve up to look at the slightly rushed sloppy handwriting on his wrist, "Only if you let me star over." Thomas didn't really know what to think his soulmate had wanted to new start with him and that worried Thomas a little. He didn't seam to have to best start with this Soulmate but if they where trying to start over then Thomas was willing to change his mind about someone he had never meet, if that meant something worth while.
A/N I had absolutely no idea where to end this and I want to end it before I went to bed so I finished this at 12:23 or something. And I felt like the first part was mostly a filler. And it was kinda rushed? Yes no? I also was to tired to edit it so any mistakes I'm sorry.
Feed back is appreciated!
