Wolfeny's Journey

Chapter One: How it all started

Flashback 6 years ago

Six years ago there was a husband named Fang and his wife Forest and they had two children, whose names were Wolfeny and Shade. They were a tightly bonded family and lived quite happily. Now both Forest and Fang realized that their oldest daughter Wolfeny was unique, for she born with brown eyes that had yellow flakes in them. They knew for a fact that challenging adventures were in the life that lay ahead of her. They also felt that she would suffer a great loss that would lead her onto a great journey. They didn't know how right they were in their guessing.

For on that very night a man by the name of Putnar, came and demanded that they give him their daughter. Both Forest and Fang knew if they did that it wouldn't be safe so they refused. This didn't go over so well with Putnar as he yelled "If you don't hand her over you shall pay with your lives!". Husband and Wife looked at each other in the eyes than both of them nodding since they knew what had to be done. Forest watch as her husband leaped toward Putnar taking him by surprise. She than spun around and ran out the back door running toward the small play house she knew her daughter and son where playing in.

The next thing her daughter knew was the play house door was being swung open and their mother picking up her little brother Shade placing him on her hip than grabbing her hand bringing her to a standing position as she felt her mom pull her starting to run again toward the path in the forest. Her daughter kept up on her small legs as she heard a terrible noises coming from their house. Wolfeny looked up at her mom as her younger brother clung to their mom's neck. She saw her mom crying as she asked her "Whats going on? Where is daddy?". Her mom looked at her and than at her son than back at the house as the tear came quicker as she said trying not to let a sod out. "Nothing you need to worry about daddy will follow us shortly OK." As they continue to run they heard a voice yelling out into the night "You can run all you want but I'm always going to find you every single time!!".

They ran deep into the forest far away from their house when Forest finally stops she looks over her shoulder again making sure that no one was following them. She lets go of her daughters hand than hands Shade to her as she says "Wolfeny honey take your brother and keep running as far away as u can alright do you understand me? No matter what you hear just keep running." Wolfeny looks at her mom and nods her head not saying a word since the look in her mothers eyes told her to that there was no time for talk. She had heard the yelling as they ran so she kissed her mothers cheek telling her goodbye with that kiss but not knowing it. Her mom kissed them both then hugged them for the last time her tears continued to come down as she watched her daughter with her little boy in her arms continue to run deeper into the woods running away from everything they knew leaving their old lives behind them forever.

Wolfeny kept running with her brother in her arms till they reached a cave that her and her brother along with their friend Kyo played in whenever they played adventure games. She placed her little brother on the ground and told him to go and get the sleeping bags they hid there, while she went and got some wood and the snacks they kept here also. She replayed everything in her head and she held back the tears threatening to spill from her eyes as she realized that she and her brother were never going to see their parents again."

Flashback 6 years ago end

Wolfeny was only 12 when that happened and little Shade was only 3 so he didn't really understand what had happened exactly all he knew was that his was sad and not telling him something. But now Wolfeny was 18 and Shade was 9 they now lived in a house on a hill far from the town hidden in the forest. I had told my brother the story about our parents many times before he always asked me to tell it despite what it was about and what had happened in it. Every time she had told this story to her brother he would look up at her and ask"Sissy why did that guy want you? Also Why did he kill mom and dad because they wouldn't give you over to him? You always just tell me that he was crazy and drunk" I would than look at Shade with unshed tears in my eyes remembering what had happened to our parents as I said to him "I have no clue why that man wanted me. I also don't have a single idea why he killed mom and dad over it all I was told was they where found dead when the cops got there and that it was some crazy drunk that got away before the cops where there and could catch him."
