Chapter Eight:Story Time and New Feelings

Recap: 

I let out a relieved sigh in my mind as I close my connection with Midnight after talking to him and hearing him telling me it will be ok. I look back up at Ryder as I stop glaring at him as I realize I'm still standing chest to chest with him and our faces are in a close proximity of each other. i get this weird fluttering in my chest and stomach as I take in a short breath and take a step back to put some space in between us.I keep my arm's crossed as I look him up and down "Alright I believe you. But my question is why exactly did you help us in the first place?" I hear him chuckle as he looks at me.

"How about we go into the living room and continue this talk I'm getting tired of standing here and I think you should sit down anyways." I hear him say as he turns around and head's to the door and opens it I think about it then follow after him as we walk down the hallway and into the living room. I see him sit in a chair and I watch him nod his head to the chair across from him telling me to sit down. I see him watching me as I sit down and cross my left leg over my right leg and lean back into the chair as I look him in the eye's waiting for him to say something.

                                                    Chapter Eight:Story Time and New Feelings

We looked at each other for what felt like an hour before I let out a annoyed sigh and put my hands on my knees and lean forward. "Are you going to answer my question or not because if you won't then I won't answer anymore of your questions that I know you have for me." I smirk after saying that as I see him roll his eyes and take in a breath then let it out as a chuckle. I fold my eyebrows together and raise one of my eyebrow's at him as I feel another fluttering feeling in my chest when I hear him chuckle. I see him lean forward and clear his throat with a smirk on his lips "And what exactly was that question again?" I let out a huff "I asked why exactly did you help us in the first place? I mean you don't even know us we could be scamming you completely and you wouldn't have a clue." I see his face contort looking like he was trying not to do something. Then I hear him let out a huge laugh as he hold his sides. I feel the hair's on the back or my neck hair bristle as I let out a growl and jump up out of my set.and glared at him with anger in my eyes.I take a breath in and yell "YOU THINK I'M JOKING ABOUT THIS? YOU FIND THIS FUNNY? DO YOU THINK I'M NOT ABLE TO DO OR PULL SOMETHING LIKE THAT HUM?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" I breath in and out quickly clearly pissed off. I hear him stop laughing and put up his hand in a way to say "I give I give". I glare at him still as he looks me in the eyes.

" I wasn't trying to be mean but I mean you obviously aren't weak but there's no way you could pull something on me or even hurt me at all I'm way better then you anyways I can already tell that. Oh and to answer your question before you yell at me again. I helped you because you were unconscious and out in the middle of no where in the woods even with your wolf partner something could have happened to you since you were out then with no proper protection. That is why I helped you guys no other reason." I let out a growl and a frustrated cry as I walk up to him as he is still sitting in the chair. As I look him in the eyes and say through gritted teeth " I would have been just fine no thanks to you. Midnight could have protected me just fine nothing would have happened to me nothing bad at all so next time just keep your nosey self out of it understand me. Also if I wanted to pull something on you I could and you wouldn't even know it and if I wanted to hurt you I could cuz I'm more then able to handle guys like you."

I see Ryder's face go red with frustration and slit anger I smirk as I fold my arms in front of me. I see him stand up and and we are again very close as I see his chest rise and fall heavily as he tries to calm himself at after what I said to him. I see his hand clenched and I feel myself loos my frustration and be replaced by satisfaction that I was able to tick him off with only a few well placed words. Then I feel an idea pop into my brain and I let a slow smile slid onto my face as I let my hand slid onto his should as I lean closer to him I feel his breath hitch and see the anger and frustration slip from his face and be replaced by confusion as he tries so figure out what exactly I was trying to do. I let a small giggle pass my lips as I let my hand slid down the left side of his jaw as I say "Are you getting mad now hum did I make you mad? Just by saying a few things? See I told you I could fool you if I wanted to and you would never see it coming. But you didn't believe me." I lean lean closer to him and I hear his heart rate pick up and his face start to go red a little bit as I see his jaw clench along with his hands loosen and his eyes still full of confusion as he continues to try and understand what I'm going to do next.
