                                                                Chapter Four:Finding Out My Powers   

As Midnight and me continued walking South we talked about how our lives have been up until now.I told him everything including my best friend Kyo and what happened to my parents and how  I decided after turning 12 that I moved out of Kyo's place to find a place for me and my brother Shade. I told him how I taught Shade everything including how to protect himself if needed. After I told him my life story he told me his. How he was taught by his father the Alpha how to hunt and protect. When he learned that he was part of something amazing that would help protect the humans and protect the peace they had with nature. Also how he came to notice how I was going to be his partner in all of this and the day he saw me for the first time.

"I was only a young pup back then and I was running through the woods one day with my dad as we chased down a rabbit. We were on the edges chasing after it when saw a flash of silver hair as I saw a young girl running past the woods chasing a small boy as they both laughed. My dad saw me stop and asked me what was wrong. I looked at him and said I just had a funny feeling just now when I saw this human girl run past us. I heard him let out a chuckle as he told me that the feeling I had was that I had just found my partner who was going to help me change and protect the peace that the humans had with nature. So since then I've been watching you and waiting for the right time to introduce myself to you.And that time just happened to be right after your brother was taken and u went out to go find and rescue him. "

 I nod my head truing to understand what he was telling me exactly what he was telling me exactly. I stopped mid step then tilted my head looking at him as I saw him stop and give me a confused look."What do you mean help u protect the peace that humans have with nature? I'm human myself I can't do anything other then try and stop them and even then most people if any at all would pay one girl any mind at all." I hear Midnight chuckle at me as he shakes his head a little."I knew you where going to ask that question after I said that. The truth is that YOU do have something special inside of you along with your not all the way human either.I mean didn't you ever wonder why exactly you have Silver Hair and Yellow Eyes" 

I heard what he said and I blink back in surprise as I shake my head at him and let out a small laugh."Your not serious are you? I can't be anything but human I mean really if I wasn't human even the smallest bit not human I would know about it since it's MY body." I say looking at Midnight right in the eyes.Even as my mind was wondering that exactly since he had maid a good point about my hair and eye color being to different."I can tell you that even if it is YOUR body sometimes if one-side is stronger than the other or the other-side is just laying dormant waiting for the right moment to awaken you wouldn't have a clue that you were even the smallest bit not human." I heard him explain as I finally get myself to start walking again as I let everything that was just said sink into my head making me understand it better.

As I continue to think about what was just said and added it to everything else that was explained and everything that had happened in my life. I started to realize that me not being full human explained many things in my life like how every-time I was near or in nature like forests I was so calm and it also explains why I always thought that nature herself was talking to me telling me things other people couldn't hear and didn't know.
