Chapter Two:The Return

Recap:"So Shade you finish the homework I gave you to do and Kyo how is school going anyways?" She asks them as she takes another bite of her hot dog.But before either of them could answer there came a splintering noise from the front door.

                                                               Chapter Two:The Return

Wolfeny's and Kyo's head whipped their heads when they heard the sound with wide eyes Wolfeny felt her heart rate pick up as panic and worry sent in. Shade's eyes widened looking at her big sister for an answer or explanation for what just happened. Wolfeny looks at Kyo then Shade as she heard heavy foot steps falling on the wooden floor heading toward the kitchen. Wolfeny felt her eyes get even wider when she saw they shadow of the man that was responsible for her mom and dad's death the reason why everything in her life had changed dramatically and so quickly. I held back a panicked gasp as she looked at Kyo giving him a look that said to take Shade and hide him now.

Kyo nodded slowly before getting up and grabbing Shade's hand taking him to the basement where it was safest. She watched them go and heard the soft click of the basement door as she stood up from the table and grabbed a iron pan from the stove along but kept the small knife safely hidden in the leg strap she wore almost everyday just in case something happened and she needed it along with many another hidden items around the house.

"I told that stupid fucking bitch that no matter how long you run or how ever many times you run I will always fucking find you. But that bitch just didn't believe me and neither did that bastered of a man so they just had to go."I hear a masculine voice say from the entrance or the kitchen. She looked up too see a tall man about 6'6" muscled with short brown hair that looked a bit on the grease side.His brown beady eyes looked at her up and down shamelessly with an evil smirk on his face. She fought the shiver that ran down her spine as she stood her ground keeping the pan hidden behind her back. "So we finally get to meet my little pet" said the man. My eyes turned to slits at what he said and I growled out."I'm not your little pet Putnar you slime ball."

I heard Putnar chuckle at this as he took a step closer toward me with an evil gleam in his eyes. I fight the need to take a step back keeping my eyes trained on him watching his ever move as she heard him say"Now now lets not go calling people names humm. Why don't you just come with me nice and peacefully and no one will get hurt." I watched as he took another step toward and and I saw his hands begin to lift ready to grab me if I made a move. 

"I don't think that is going to happen now or ever and there is no way your going to get her unless you go through me first" I heard a voice from behind me say. I feel the hand I've known all my life land on my shoulder as I feel myself being pulled to stand behind Kyo's back hiding me from Putnar's view and shielding me from any of his attacks. I felt my eyes widen and I can't find my voice to protest or say anything after hearing what he had just said.

 Kyo's POV (Heheheehe didn't it coming did u?)

Putnar look at this boy who looked to be nearly 17 and he chuckled at what he heard him say. He raise his eyebrow looking at the boy as he said"You think a little boy like you can take on a guy like me?" He saw the look on Kyo's face making him smirk he knew saying that would get him mad and that's why he said it. Kyo's hands turned to fists. At what he had said and he growled out with anger seeping from his voice"I will defend her with all my life and will make you pay for making her suffer all these years." He looked at the man's face that had caused the woman he had fallen for so much pain for six long years. The man who wanted to take her away and do who knows what to her but Kyo wasn't going to let that happen.
